We were in Fort Meyers for my mother in law's 95 birthday. While we took a drive we saw the sign for Power House Steakhouse and decided we would take the group for dinner there on our last night. I am glad we did it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious! Wish we lived closer we would surely visit more often. I would definitely tell people to go there if they are in Fort Meyers area.
We started with the fried calamari as our appetizer. Disappointed . It was chewy and a little greasy. Waiter asked how it was and we mentioned this to him. He said he will tell the kitchen. Hubby chose the pick 2 and decided on the scallops (2) and filet which seemed small but tasty . I chose the sea bass in a lemon butter sauce that came with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. A tad too much sauce for my liking. Dinner was good not great.
Visited on my birthday. My wife and I enjoyed our filets, roasted veggies and ceasar salad--and we finished with my favorite dessert, Tartufo! That is was even on the menu was a pleasant surprise. Our sever was very polite and attentive. The steaks were flavorful and cooked as ordered. We had requested a booth in our reservation, but none was available so we were seated in a quiet corner of the house. It turned out fine. The evening was a little bit pricey and there was no tableside...
