I had a health concern happen while I was entertaining myself and the locals with some guitar music, good conversation and lots of pool games. I got dehydrated and the paranoia set in hard. Luckily these folks are good people and all my belongings were kept, safely. When I got well and was able to retrieve them. I was well cared for and never made to feel unwelcome though I’m afraid I might have made a fool of myself. Maybe again some day without the dehydration? I hope so!
Xenophobia, microaggressions, blatant discrimination, high surveillance and high suspicion of black patrons, implied threats implicit criminal profiling, calling off duty employees and friends to come make implicit threats and scope me out.
