As soon as we walked in, the energy was very welcoming! On top of that, the food tasted amazing. We had the fried catfish, fried chicken, and yams. Can’t wait to revisit and try other things from the menu!
The lady is very nice, we came in and tried the fried whiting and fried shrimp.. the shrimp was forgotten but she did throw in a extra side!!! when we went back for the shrimp..which was the best part of the meal.. Will be back to try a less simple meal for sure..
Sugah Shack is one of my favorite restaurants in FL. The turkey wings and rice & gravy is delicious. Great customer service from start to finish.

Sugah Shack is a restaurant in Brooksville, Florida that serves soul food. The energy is welcoming and the staff is nice. The food is really good. Customers recommend the fried catfish, fried chicken, fried whiting, and fried shrimp. The shrimp was the best part of the meal. The 3 piece and 2 sides meal comes with mac and cheese, yams, and fries. The mac and cheese is creamy, perfectly seasoned, and well-cheesed. The yams are fire. The collards and greens are top tier. The peach cobbler and banana pudding loaded with bananas and Nilla Wafers are really really good. The catfish is fresh and the batter is seasoned perfectly. The chicken is fried, juicy, and perfect. This is some of the best made from scratch Southern cooking. It is a true hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and go eat some phenomenal food made with love by some phenomenal people.
