“Things are getting worse in almost all Cape restaurants & bars. But the Dive is doing exactly that - taking "The Dive". Bartender was so bad that we had a beer apiece after he noticed us sitting at the small outside bar. We were so unhappy that we decided to cash out and leave (mind you, the one beer that we ordered from him) and he asked if we had a tab. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 what are you on? Tolerance can only be applied for a certain amount of time and then it runs out; oh, and then people go to other places. That would be us.“

“Just got back from my first visit, and it sure as hell won't be my last! incredible vibe, super personable staff, and down to Earth patrons. I was even lucky enough to get an impromptu live music performance before dipping. Thats how cool this place is. Look no further, THE place for libations and comradery in the Cape. Obviously, highly recommended.“

“The Cape has two Moose and this is the "little moose" and 2199 is the "big moose". This is our favorite for so many reasons: close to the house, great prices, tremendous staff, pretty damn good food, nice "sports bar" feel, and the outside patio is great. We love this place.“

“The Dek Bar is a fantastic spot to grab some drinks and enjoy excellent bar food! It has that perfect dive bar vibe—laid-back, fun, and full of energy. When we visited, the place was definitely happening and packed, but the vibe was so welcoming and lively, we didn’t mind at all.

The bartenders were awesome—super friendly, attentive, and fast despite the crowd. What really impressed us was the food. For a dive bar, the quality was way above expectations! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and hit the spot.

If you’re in Cape Coral, I’d absolutely recommend stopping by. Whether you’re looking for a casual drink or a great bite to eat in a fun atmosphere, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back! Five stars all the way!“

“Great food, good bartenders, highly worthy of a return. These people were wise in firing Kitty Maldonado whom these days continues to ramble over and over like a broken record over other peoples' mistakes, including things that are years in the past and that everyone at all bars is tired of hearing about. Does she not realize how horribly annoying she is to everyone she serves and works for at every single bar, and yet she continues to repeatedly resurrect the same drama, over and over, like a broken record at every single bar she works at, which she has been doing since the Covid pandemic. And Kitty was fired from at least a dozen other bars for rambling over and over like a broken record over other peoples' mistakes. People are tired of hearing about the same mistakes of other people over and over again. Kitty's repeating broken record drama has ruined numerous potential celebrations of Joe Biden's victory and Donald Trump's defeat in the November 2020 election. Donald Trump was the very worst president in American history, many of us were about to celebrate Trump's defeat and multiple impeachments, and Kitty ruined our celebrations with her drama and rambling over and over like a broken record. And to make matters worse, she has a destructive sidekick, Joanna Teresa Unbehaun, adding to the drama. Joanna is in fact reported to have framed a number of students at a high school near Chicago for involvement in the 2001 attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, as well as for a series of bomb threats that occurred in the Chicago metropolitan area during the fourth quarter of that year. Reportedly, Kitty Maldonado was actually supposed to have moved to Atlanta, Georgia or Los Angeles, California back in the fall of 2018. And truthfully, I think Kitty would do well in Los Angeles as I hear a close friend of hers, Deziree, that used to bartend in the South Cape, lives in Los Angeles and is last known bartending somewhere on Wilshire Blvd near Beverly Hills.“

“Typical sports bar atmosphere. Dozens of TV screens, multiple pool tables, dart boards and poker tables. They hold tournaments on selected nights each week. Food is standard bar fare but plentiful, reasonably priced and delicious. Service can be challenging when its busy but all employees are courteous, helpful and doing their best. It can get loud when busy... TV's, music, crowds but they recently moved all smoking to a smoking pavilion outside the front door which is a breath of fresh air for those of us who don't. Highly recommend as a local sports bar, we swing by during happy hour at least a couple of times a month.“

“The Florida Shrimp Salad was very good (didnt like that the tail was left on the shrimp). I really enjoyed the Jerk Salmon Bites. The drink I had, forgot the name, something with the name 'Twist', didn't have much liquor. I'm a lightweight drinker and 2 of those were like drinking soda.
The server was friendly and pleasant. Service did feel a little slow at times, but overall it was good. The waterfront view is absolutely beautiful. Nice place to watch the sunset.“

Chilly and Dave behind the bar are absolute legends—Chilly's got the charm and the skills to whip up some mean cocktails, and Dave keeps the good vibes rolling with his infectious energy. The place has that classic dive bar feel—unpretentious, laid-back, and full of character. Don't expect frills or fancy decor, but if you're looking for a spot with a great atmosphere, awesome bartenders, and affordable drinks, this is it. Five stars all the way!“

“This is a great spot for gourmands! I’m so glad we found this little gem. The service and food were outstanding! The Brussels sprouts with sriracha and miso are not to be missed, and the wagyu filet just melts in your mouth. They have an extensive cocktail and wine menu, but I chose the Pom mocktail, and they even made me another mocktail that wasn’t on the menu. Highly recommend Gather - we will definitely be back!“

“Have gone twice in the last two weeks and incredible both times! My husband and I are so happy to have found it! Beautiful restaurant, comfortable atmosphere, great menu, incredible service, and delicious food. From The flavor and fresh taste, we were blown away. Also the employees (and I mean all employees) were wonderful! We felt so welcome and I believe had interactions with just about everyone on staff. We’ll be back on next date nite. (PIZZA IS TOP TIER)“

“Loved Ralph's Place! Cool bar with better than average pub fare presented really nicely and at bargain prices. I was surprised with how soft and fresh the Kaiser roll on which I had my grouper sanwich was, and the steak fries served in a lil mini french fry fryer basket. Cool! It's a sports bar that's nicer than a dive bar without being upscale and pretentious or stuffy. More like a neighborhood bar feel. You'll love the vibe and crowd! Our caf waitress Sky added to the vibe. Live entertainment is what brought me in. Enjoyed the sounds of Soapy Tuna (lol) name is funny but they effin rocked! Sounded like a fuller sound than the trio they were. Highly recommend!“

“Nevermind made our Sunday! My daughters and I visited on April 6, 2025, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the DJ's music was a hit with my kids, and the service was exceptional. Fawn, Hanna, and another incredibly kind staff member (who even brought my daughters cupcakes!) made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was lively, perfect for a fun afternoon. “It was my second time at Fathom. The restaurant has expanded since I was there last. The waitress was wonderful. The food was okay, nothing memorable. I recommend staying away from the chocolate mousse, it definitely is nothing like a classic style. Instead of rich fluffy chocolate it was caramel pudding!“
