“If you love Caribbean food this little gem is a must. I had the oxtail with rice, cabbage, and plantains. The oxtail was seasoned well and they were cooked to perfection. My friend had a beef patty and said it was tasty. I ordered the jerk chicken to go and that was great too. They do add sauce to the jerk chicken so don’t let that throw you off. Definitely going back to try the curry chicken / shrimp and goat. The minute I walked through the door I felt welcomed. The owner/ employees were friendly and kind. I have visited this place since it opened its doors and it was only half the size it is now... and it is understood that with time and inflation the prices have had to increase but it is already somewhat exaggerated... some things have increased 200% in price. price. Currently I rarely go for this reason and I know many people who agree with me and are no longer regular customers.“

“NMR Restaurant is as authentic Creole as they come and they even cater to the comfort food crowd as well. I happened to choose the simply delicious shrimp stew with rice and bean sauce, cabbage and fried plantains. The Staff is uber courteous and delivery or takeout is immensely popular or if a sit-down experience is preferred, they've got you covered with conventional white tablecloths and place settings as well.
