“If you love Caribbean food this little gem is a must. I had the oxtail with rice, cabbage, and plantains. The oxtail was seasoned well and they were cooked to perfection. My friend had a beef patty and said it was tasty. I ordered the jerk chicken to go and that was great too. They do add sauce to the jerk chicken so don’t let that throw you off. Definitely going back to try the curry chicken / shrimp and goat. The minute I walked through the door I felt welcomed. The owner/ employees were friendly and kind. M & A is a small place , but they sure do serve up some big flavors. Check it out you will not be disappointed. Heather ( the Caribbean loving Italian) lol“

“They offer a very varied selection of typical Cuban dishes, cakes, sweets and food. I have visited this place since it opened its doors and it was only half the size it is now... and it is understood that with time and inflation the prices have had to increase but it is already somewhat exaggerated... some things have increased 200% in price. price. Currently I rarely go for this reason and I know many people who agree with me and are no longer regular customers.“

“I got the jerk chicken. It was so flavorful. The portions were generous. The plantains were bomb. The white rice with bean sauce was very flavorful as well. They brought out some red gravy thing and boy was it good. I was putting that on everything.“

“My mother and I dropped in between doing a little shopping without any expectations and were met with an incredible dining experience in a beautiful, light and airy dining room. Our server, May, was so sweet and knew the menu incredibly well, recommending dishes with a clear respect for the chef. We had the ham croquetas to start, white wine sangria to drink, and two amazing entrees: a fresh, filling salad with grilled chicken for my mother and an off menu deconstructed ropa vieja tamale dish with egg, sweet plantains, and microgreens that was so out of this world I almost cried. I usually order the empanadas but this time I ordered the spinach dip, it was disgusting it was cold..it had bits of cream cheese.. to much spinach and tasted like fish... the chips were good though. Service was real slow wasn't real busy and took forever for service.“
