These people were wise in firing Kitty Maldonado whom these days continues to ramble over and over like a broken record over other peoples' mistakes, including things that are years in the past and that everyone at all bars is tired of hearing about. Does she not realize how horribly annoying she is to everyone she serves and works for at every single bar, and yet she continues to repeatedly resurrect the same drama, over and over, like a broken record at every single bar she works at, which she has been doing since the Covid pandemic. And Kitty was fired from at least a dozen other bars for rambling over and over like a broken record over other peoples' mistakes. People are tired of hearing about the same mistakes of other people over and over again. Kitty's repeating broken record drama has ruined numerous potential celebrations of Joe Biden's victory and Donald Trump's defeat in the November 2020 election. Donald Trump was the very worst president in American history, many of us were about to celebrate Trump's defeat and multiple impeachments, and Kitty ruined our celebrations with her drama and rambling over and over like a broken record. And to make matters worse, she has a destructive sidekick, Joanna Teresa Unbehaun, adding to the drama. Joanna is in fact reported to have framed a number of students at a high school near Chicago for involvement in the 2001 attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, as well as for a series of bomb threats that occurred in the Chicago metropolitan area during the fourth quarter of that year. Reportedly, Kitty Maldonado was actually supposed to have moved to Atlanta, Georgia or Los Angeles, California back in the fall of 2018. And truthfully, I think Kitty would do well in Los Angeles as I hear a close friend of hers, Deziree, that used to bartend in the South Cape, lives in Los Angeles and is last known bartending somewhere on Wilshire Blvd near Beverly Hills.“

“Went at 5pm, we thought we were running late, so per the restaurant's rule is to let them know. Luckily, we made it in time, and both their email and front desk assured us that our tables is secured. Check in smooth and prompt. We luckily got our table seated near the window. It was perfect! They didn't rush us for our food/drink order, and we got our food at a timely manner, give us time and space to digest before the next course Presentation is absolutely lovely and artistic, and the quality and quantity is absolute divine, we are famished, managed to finish all three courses Service is great! They check on us, and clear out our plates as soon as we finished Would go back here again! Thank you so much for the lovely experience!“

“Was in Cape Coral about a month ago helping a friend with storm prep. He said Stevie Tomatoes was worth checking out and he wasn't kidding. The pizza and wings were great; The service and atmosphere were everything I could hope for. Plus, I got to meet John Melendez. He shows up negatively in a lot of reviews here. I don't get why; he seemed very friendly and well-mannered during our visit. My friend bought him a beer which he graciously accept, and we spent the next half-hour (give or take) talking about life in general. It was really cool to see this thoughtful, philosophical side of him. He was a very humble, self-aware an, completely at odds with what I expected. It was a great experience, as was everything else in my visit to Stevie Tomatoes. Highly recommended. I'll be back...and I can't wait for it!“

Walked into Burnt Store Tavern expecting the usual Florida strip-mall vibes and left wondering if I’d accidentally stumbled into a Michelin-starred speakeasy disguised as a neighborhood bar.
Our server Casey deserves her own statue outside. Picture this: four hangry adults, zero patience, menus longer than a CVS receipt. Casey swoops in like a superhero whose cape is made of napkins and unlimited refills. She memorized our chaotic order faster than I can remember my own Wi-Fi password. No “I’ll check with the kitchen,” no up-selling dessert before apps—just pure, unfiltered competence wrapped in a smile that could melt butter. 10/10, would let her babysit my kids, dog, and tax documents.
The kitchen? Pure Sorcery. My grouper sandwich arrived so perfectly cooked I half-expected it to wink at me. Flaky, juicy, zero “fishy” crimes committed. The burgers were medium-well masterpieces—juicier than gossip at a PTA meeting. And the wings? Crispy outside, tender inside, sauced so expertly I considered proposing to the chef mid-bite. Beer? Served at a temperature that should be illegal in Florida. I’m convinced they keep hops in the witness-protection program inside a glacier.
If you leave Burnt Store Tavern anything less than stuffed, happy, and plotting your return trip, you’re doing life wrong. Tell Casey we sent you—she’ll probably remember our order from 2025 anyway.
