Very welcoming atmosphere
What an incredible little gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. This small restaurant may be cozy in size, but it is absolutely huge in flavor, hospitality, and heart.

The Dominican Experience is a small restaurant that is cozy in size but huge in flavor, hospitality, and heart. Guests feel welcomed and genuinely cared for from the moment they walk in. The food is great, the ambiance is great, and the service is great. Diners leave with a full tummy. The portions are generous, and the flavor, authenticity, and wonderful hospitality keep people coming back. As someone who grew up eating Dominican food said, it felt like Grandma's cooking. The Sister Owners make everything from scratch, and the lady who took her time cordially explained each dish was a sweet girl. Pollo Guisado is a 10/10 must try. The spices, meats, rice beans and all plates were absolutely outstanding. This fresh local spot is a Gem in the Cape, a new goto for local variety non chain experiences.
