My husband and I went to the wicked dolphin distillery today. We did a tour which was very nice and everything was explained very well in the making of the various rum flavors along with. The bitters you can purchase separately. The staff was very nice and welcoming, and the ability to sample the various products was nice. They have a patio out front that allows you to get a drink and sit while you’re waiting for your tour to begin. I would highly recommend a visit.
This is a great place for an interesting visit, and also from which to purchase rum whether or not you are able to visit their distillery. Their tours are interesting and the rum is very high quality. They have won over 50 awards, several against international competition. Although all rum is made from sugar, all the sugar has been removed by the time the distilling is complete. Distillery tour was very informative and fun! Rums were very tasty! Coconut was my favorite but I tasted several and they were all awesome. Tour included a small cocktail which was delicious. Wish I could purchase in Maryland but will ask locally when ordering a drink.
