On a visit to Clearwater, we came across a positive review for this restaurant and decided to try it. Many of the dishes are a clever take on Japanese sushi, but with Latin ingredients including pork, plantain, etc.. The result is absolutely delicious. Every bite was a different, delightful mix of flavors that brought huge smiles to our faces. We immediately decided as we finished our meal that we would be retuning again while in Clearwater.

Based on the reviews, Bocao Restaurant offers a Latin menu with sushi fusion that provides a new version while conserving tradition. The food is AMAZING, from the appetizers to the fresh squeezed juices. The stuffed red snapper is a standout, with flavor described as perfection. The Latin sushi, rice and beans, and churrasco also surpassed expectations. Meals are presented in decorative wooden plates topped with an orchid. The staff is super professional, fast, friendly, and provides phenomenal customer service. The atmosphere features music that is loud, making conversation difficult, and lighting that is very low after dark. The restaurant is very clean. It has accessible push door entry and a pickup counter at accessible height. Standard tables are available indoors and outdoors with a covered roof on a busy street. Free van accessible head-in parking is available in a shared lot. Highly recommended for everyone, including Asian people.
