We drive over an hour and a half to come to this restaurant! We always have an excellent meal with both sides of the restaurant, which offers both the traditional Chinese selections and the other upscale gourmet dining option from their gourmet section.
What I like is that we can always sit in the traditional Chinese section and still order from the upscale menu as well as the traditional Chinese menu! The wait staff can’t be any better, and are so attentive and accommodating.
The chefs there are truly talented and the portions are generous, as is the quality and freshness every time.
The prices are reasonable and you can’t find a better value and enjoyable experience!
We will definitely keep traveling over the hour and a half, as it’s well worth it and we know as we have had Chinese food in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and other places around the world!“

“We used to come here about 20 years ago when I was a very little girl. We are SO happy we came back and found them! The food is AMAZING. EXCELLENT. DIVINE. COMFORTING. LOVING. WARM. COZY. FLAVORFUL. “Da Sushi 634 Barnes Blvd., Rockledge, FL 32955 4.5 Stars Yep, I hear ya. Rockledge, FL, is known for many things, but fine dining is not one of them. When Da Sushi came up on my random name generator, I steeled myself for two things: facing down my fear of OTB and strengthening my intestinal fortitude as I was not sure what to expect. My fears were not assuaged as we pulled into the plaza looking for the sign. We couldn't see it, we did however, see the giant dope shop and the wig/weave store inhabiting the strip. All we needed was a Dollar General on the out parcel next to a car wash and we know we are in the boonies of FL. Upon finally spotting the sign for the eatery, I looked at my companion, thinking this was not going to be pleasant. Once we passed the threshold of Da Sushi, we were transported from a dingy strip mall only missing open-air drug sales to a fine dining oasis that is jaw-dropping in its depth and breadth. Seriously, this place was absolutely gorgeous. Kudos to the owner(s) on their decorating aptitude. Jordan is our waiter. Jordan was as reticent as a homunculus in answering my questions on the menu and, quite frankly, was an unpleasant cad. That said, I did put in an order for the Otoro Nigiri (Fatty tuna), Tuna hand-roll and the coup de grace was their $30 roll known as “The Exclusive.” Relaxing while Jordan ran our order in, I took some pics of the place drank in the exquisite decorating, and soaked up the fine dining vibe emitting from the environs. Jordan's return snapped me out of my mindless ruminations and back to the job at hand. I grabbed my chopsticks and proceeded to dig in. First up on the Big Boy's palate was the Otoro. This is one of the top-tier items to be found in any place offering raw fish. It should be fresh, creamy (almost buttery) and practically melt on your tongue. This did all of that and more. This was a superb slice of fish, and it was all I could do to move on; I did eat both pieces, however. I then turned my punctilious palate to my sushi shack barometer, the ever-popular Tuna Hand Roll. For the first time in a long time, this was properly executed and not at all fishy. The last few sushi places were not this fresh. The tuna was a nice shade of red, the rice was perfectly steamed and it was rolled with obvious care and love. Sushi is like Ricky Bobby. If it ain't fresh, it's trash. Sadly, I found myself at the end of my tasty tabi in the Land of the Rising Sun as I faced the last item for today, their Exclusive roll. For $30 bucks, I half expected a “happy ending” but then realized it's this piss-poor economy we are living in and shrugged it off. The roll itself was a happy ending to my taste buds, and it was, like the previous foodstuffs, amazing. Consisting of spicy salmon, spicy tuna, fake snow crab, crawfish salad, cream cheese avocado, and jalapeno all wrapped snugly in soy paper, then fried tempura style, topped with eel sauce, spicy mayo, honey wasabi sauce, masago (smelt eggs), scallions and some crunchy bits. This had it all and then some. What a delectable delight to end my meal. The flavors combined into a wonderful roll. The Big Boy says, “This is a one-stop shopping strip. Buy a wig, get some cheeba and dine on some out-of-this-world salt-water bait!”“

“Has good consistent food for the last 20 years“

“Take out Chinese food restaurant. Overall we all liked our food. We've been having a terrible time trying to find decent Chinese food for quite awhile since our go-to was sold and the place went downhill quickly. We live out in The Groves and we were down in Viera for an appointment. We've tried several different places from Port St. John down into Melbourne and this by far has been the best. I'd say we found our new go-to place.“

“Definitely will be back! We got the chicken garlic spicy and the beef Szechuan style and both were delicious!!! Plenty of sauce and great fried rice. The portions appear small in the to go containers but is deceiving, its plenty of food!!!! Lots of veggies in the meal too. Highly recommend!“

“By far, the best takeout in the area. Every time I order food from here, I love it. Not just like it, but love it. These people are the real deal, who care about quality and their customers. This is the kind of business that you want to see succeed because they are doing the right thing. These days, the cost of goods is so high that a lot of restaurants are cutting quarters.Raising prices and not delivering the same quality that they once did. China Garden is the humble neighbor offering you delicious food for a reasonable price. I love everything but I recommend you try, Pork Fried Rice, Boneless Ribs, Potstickers, House special Soup, any Lo Mein.

“I came in during a dinner rush on a Friday evening. The employees, Joseph and Josette, who were working the food line were both super friendly, quick, and efficient. Joseph greeted my party with a smile on his face and great customer service skills. Josette was super friendly and sweet while ringing us out. I will definitely be coming back not just for the food, but also because of these two amazing workers.“

“This place has redeemed itself in food quality and flavor. I use to frequent here years ago and it has definitely improved. I ordered takeout, dinner boneless spare ribs combination. Protein portion was good, the meat was tender and flavorful with plenty of sauce. The rice and egg roll were cooked right. This is your average no frills Chinese food takeout joint offering all the typical food options. Overall this place satisfies the Chinese takeout craving and I'd order from again.“

“Excellent buffet. Many food options and all fresh. Nice sushi bar with more selections than I have seen at other buffets. Shimp boil was something that I haven't seen on the buffet before. It was great! Crab legs were served on ice, but it was still good. Will return here next time we're in town.“
