I opted for the gluten free crust, which I was happy to discover was a cauliflower crust. many places.use the udi's GF crust, which is ok, but not great. The crust they use here was lovely. I would definitely get the chicken marsala pizza again, but they have so many different and unique options I would have to try others first. I also had their pasta fagioli, which was the best I've had in a very long time. The flavor was complex and delicious. a hidden treat for those that are gluten free, the soup is made in houe and the pasta is not added until it is time to serve. ordering without pasta, it is gluten free. The owners happened to be there when we stopped in. They were super friendly and very helpful in addressing my dietary restrictions. The quality of ingredients really shows in their food.i highly recommend trying this restaurant.“

“We had an excellent meal. They make their pasta. I had the penne a large vodka,and hubby had the baked ziti. Each came with soup or salad. I had the pasta y fagioli soup. It was hearty and delicious. Hubby had a nice house salad. Each came with a warm, fluffy garlic roll. Delicious! Our pasta dishes were cooked perfectly, both with tasty sauces. Hubby had flan for dessert. It was a huge portion large enough for two. We loved everything.“

“This was our first time eating here in Grapevine Texas location. My husband and I had a Caesar salad and a meat lovers pizza. The Caesar salad was huge and we took home half of it. The pizza is crispy and fresh out of the oven. It was a great meal. We had a friendly and knowledgeable, waitress named Kelsey. On the way out, we met the owner Luis. He was very friendly and took the time to talk about their restaurants and all the other locations they had. We will definitely be back.“

“If you're going to order Hungry Howie's, from this Deerfield Beach location, I suggest you don't do it from Uber. Not just one time, but a good amount of times they don't pay any attention to special orders. All I asked for was no cheese and they couldn't do that. When I called them and told them they told me that either I can order it again through Uber which I would have to pay for it again, or I can drive and pick up what I ordered. What would be the point if I ordered it through Uber. I guess I wasn't important enough to have them send the right order to me even though they screwed it up again. When I went in again to pick up my food they offered me a very weak apology which didn't really mean much since that's all they offered even though they took a half hour out of my time to pick up what they were supposed to deliver. That is the end of my Hungry Howie's business. I will be sure to describe this situation on my podcast. pizza was burnt also“

“I've lived for some time in Italy and know well how Napoletana pizza tastes and how it should be cooked. I went there today for lunch and had the broccoli rabe and sausage pizza. In the 20 years I've been back in America, no restaurant or pizzeria has come close to making a pizza this delicious. I actually felt like I was back in Italy eating a real pizza napoletana.

“We just had dinner there and the food and the server was great but they lost our debit card from the table to check out. Instead of just saying I’m sorry and don’t worry about the bill they asks for another card. Now we are having to cancel a card they lost and running late to get my nephew back his broadway show tour at the performance arts center because we are looking for the card. “We went in on a busy weekend night. There was a wait of course but the woman at the host stand kept us informed and gave us options (inside vs outside,high top) to shorten it if we wanted. Our server was friendly and informative. A friendly gentleman brought our pizzas and they arrived in an appropriate amount of time. Toasted crostinis and the pizzas were great and the price was fair for the service and the food. Overall we had a great dinner and will be back.

While we were looking over the menu the manager/owner? came out and asked if we had any questions about the menu and took our drink order and answered our questions. Our waitress was very personable and took great care of us. The manager/owner came out after we had finished our dinner and asked how things were. Such amazing and nice staff. Got to the restaurant around 6pm and it was full, I mean full, inside and outside were like 40 people either waiting or leaving, we (table of 2) manage to get in and ask for a table, and no reservation needed, didnt even wait one minute, was seated immediately, the waitress immediately made it to our table and greated us. We ordered sicilian wings for appetizers and two individual pizzas, the wings were the absolute best wing I've ever had, and the pizza was amazingly original and delicious, not just delicious, like the wings the best I've ever had. I asked for the check and when I get it, I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. WOW!!! I can only give it five stars here but it deserves 10 stars. I gave the max tip it had on the register. Thanks to every professional that works there. When I left i knew why it was so full. Absolutely loved it and will repeat. Highly recommend. If you come to Fort Lauderdale for vacation and can only go to one restaurant, let it be this one. You will love it.“
