“We came here straight off the plane from FLL and it exceeded expectations. We over-ordered, of course, but ate it all and it was delicious. The koobideh, the barg, the joojeh, and the gormeh sabzi were all fantastic. In fact, that was the best gormeh sabzi we’ve had outside of our own home! Tania was our server and she was so sweet and funny, truly made it a great experience for us. We will definitely be back next time we’re on the east coast! Also - the yellow sauce is amazing. Everything is homemade, and you can taste the difference!“

“I like this place a lot. The food is served impeccably. Large menu of authentic Turkish food. Reasonable prices and the most important very nice owners (Tuba’s brother). The tea they serve is black tea from Sri Lanka (it has some bergamot hint ). Its a true killer. I highly recommend them.“

“Old world charmer ,interior reminds me of Spain. Food was okay . As a former N.J resident I am spoiled by all the Portuguese restaurants we have. I was trying to find similar in S. FL. As almost all have disappeared. This is a Spanish restaurants while the food is good its portions are quite small compared to NJ. I love Portuguese cooking and portions are larger . This is also what I found in Spain. I miss mariscada in green sauce ,lobster in my paella and a ton of sea food & flavored yellow rice. So I would have to fly back to south river nj to get that super delicious food. We had one in palm beach that closed. Sad“

Old Review: “This is my second time ordering delivery from here and the food usually tastes good but I was bamboozled when I saw the banana crepe looked like this and nothing like the picture. It looks like a joke and not worth $10. Probably $3 at most with how ridiculous this looks. Also, the lettuce appeared old and soggy from the Gyro platter.

However, what truly made the night was the service. Our server, Mava, was absolutely amazing; she was a wealth of information about the menu and remained attentive without being intrusive. “The owner is a real jerk, vaping as he prepares the food. I supposedly went in to train as a cashier, only to get overwhelmed by duties as the cashier, taking orders on the phone, packing take-outs, handling Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, serving all the tables as a waitress for the whole place, cleaning them all up as a busperson, and bringing patio furniture outside. Good thing I didn't work at night or I'd have the added duties of also mopping the floors, cleaning the bathrooms as a janitor, and bringing in all the patio furniture. The owner calls it multi-tasking. I call it too cheap to hire more employees. It is insane to ask for so much from one person! As it is, he only pays minimum wage and all the credit card tips are kept by the owner himself! From here I have learned that I'll be leaving cash tips for wait staff in the future, since greedy owners like this feel they are entitled to keep all credit card tips. The place is a disgrace.“

“Little hidden place in Plantation, located on Pine Island Road in a small shopping plaza. Izgara is a Middle Eastern restaurant, with delicious food! The Hummus , is the best I have ever had! It's creamy, buttery with a little tangy kick! I had the Skewered Steak Platter with salad, fresh cut sweet potato fries ( that I kept dipping into my hummus) 😋 check this place out! P.S. they also have vegetarian options“

“Amazing small Market that churns out delicious Lebanese food. The flavors are so good you'll come back often! They have a full sit down restaurant attached, but my wife and I like the simplicity of ordering a Shwarma or mixed grill platter and sitting at one of the tables with our toddler (who adores their pita and hummus), no frills. Absolutely recommend this spot to anyone who likes the cuisine.“

Food has great portions and I love the options and I will say the food has great flavor there wasn’t a dish I didn’t like.
