“Well prepared dishes that are prepared beautifully with complex flavors. Wontons are a staple on the menu and when you try them you will understand why. Delicate and savory goodness. The other two dishes we ordered were just okay (potato dumplings and cauliflower). I’m sure some of the other items were super yummy but our stomachs could only handle a light dinner (had a super late lunch). The service was very knowledgeable and polite. Please keep in mind they do not alter their menu items so those who have dietary concerns should call ahead since they change their menu often. The ambiance was just okay. It’s located inside a Citibank building on the ground floor. Lighting could be better and perhaps an upgrade on seating and tables. Totally doable but a bit dated. All in all a lovely experience.“

“Great place for a date night, a eat out night with friends or family. It starts with their great staff, beautifully decorated interior and then you have spectacular food from across Asia. You like spicy they have it, you don't want they have it, udon you got it. Great place have enjoyed it so much we got 2 of our kids a via gift card as an XMAS present this year so they could go. O and BTW the prices are Soo reasonable especially in this economy. Check them out and you'll be a fan too“

“We visited KYU Miami on a Sunday afternoon for brunch with the family and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We arrived around 3 PM and were seated immediately — a huge plus, especially in a busy area like Wynwood. The fact that they offer valet service right out front is incredibly convenient and appreciated, considering how hectic parking can be in the neighborhood.

Once inside, we were welcomed and seated at a comfortable table. Our server promptly presented both the brunch and lunch menus, giving us a variety of options. We ordered several brunch dishes, all of which were packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Every item exceeded our expectations.

We also went with the bottomless mimosas — and our server was kind enough to let us know they end at 4 PM, which we appreciated. She made sure we had as many refills as possible during our time, providing attentive and friendly service without rushing us.

The ambiance was relaxed yet vibrant, making it a great spot for families. Between the excellent service, flavorful food, and smooth logistics (especially valet), KYU delivered a standout experience. We’ll absolutely be back.“

“I booked Novikov for my honey's 45th bday dinner, with just the two of us. Our reservation was for 8:30, we arrived at 8:45 and waited 10-15 mins for our table. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant in Alain's section. Here's where the magic happened. He took such great care of us, giving recommendations and great details of the menu items we considered . To start, we requested our usual, two spicy mezcalitas. Next, we ordered the delicious hamachi, and the king crab maki - both 10/10. Then were the short rib bao buns and the undefeated Brussel Sprouts w/ crispy pork belly - so genius another 10/10. For the main we went with the wagyu ribeye and prawn fried rice - these were good, especially steak but the prawn fried rice was not a star of the night and that's okay. “This place has become an absolute essential institution to the downtown area restaurant scene. Dumplings Mi Amor, whips out some of the best Asian flavors in Florida. The dumpling selection is great, the chili-beef shumai my personal favorite is something I order on every visit.

As for entrees, the Katsu plates, the Omuraisu, the curries, the ramens all bursting with flavors that are spot on and take me back to my travels in Asia with every bite.
