bad service and overpriced management apathetic I've dined worldwide and this please is one of the worst restaurants I've been to it should be out of bu in 12 months

Honestly no idea why this restaurant has, relatively speaking, poor reviews. We came here for lunch, and the service was impeccable, design and ambience spot on, and (most importantly) food was delicious. Can't wait to come back for a proper dinner.

Please was great for a casual dinner. We sat at the bar and we loved it. Great ambiance, no loud music. Deviled eggs and chicken were deliciousl

Wow! This restaurant was amazing. We had been to the one in Napa, but knew we had to go to their new location in Coral Gables when it opened. The waitstaff was knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. The ambiance inside was a bit noisier but felt like a very upscale bustling French bistro--we sat in the garden which was quieter and more calm for a nice date night, though you do miss out on some of the decor. We started with cocktails which were delicious (the Aneth aperitif was a highlight). Oysters and escargot were delicious to start, and the steak frites for my main was so tender and rich. It was an unforgettable meal, and I'm sure their Michelin star will come soon!

It started with a delicious braid of bread…a literal twist on a baguetteThere was a Heavenly jar of mustard on table and a small bowl of pistachios…Then two amazing deviled eggs arrived surrounded by olives with a tiny umami shaving on top with a pop of the best mustard I have ever tasted which made for a bite that was equal to the deviled egg with caviar at Surf. Proving it isn’t the decadence that made the dish but the clear idea and balance of taste combined with the skill, precision and passion. He is a proper artist! Like Jean Georges and Eric Ripert, he stands shoulder to shoulder to bring us vivid food that doesn’t hide behind gimmicks. Clean, simple, perfectly executed!None of those three are “celebrity Chefs”, they are great Chefs that are SO good that we know their names and aspire to eat their food, so they become celebrities! The terrine de foie gras canard that was delicate and complex….full of flavor, but when paired with the bread and mustard they had on the table, it is a smash! The foie arrived a bit too cold (my one small quibble) so like the philistine that I am I warmed it over my candle….I jokingly wondered if he should serve it with a small sterno and make it interactive like the bread and the pistachios on the table, but perhaps they should just let it sit out in the kitchen for 15 minutes before serving?By the way, with the mustard and foie on the bread I took and smashed a pistachio on top of a bite and that was also nice…just combining all the yumminess he gave us on the table…When you dine alone, you have time to play with your food and overthink….Anyway, the roasted chicken came next and it was sublime! It is what we wish all chicken would be: juicy, succulent and crispy delicious skin over mushrooms, bacon and a jus that anything would taste great in!He makes truffle pommes frites that are the best fries I have ever eaten ….no joke! They don’t have truffle shaved on them, they are somehow fried in truffle butter so the flavors are deep and heavenly.I have had Duck and fries at La Tour D’Argent and they would blush if they ate what I had tonight!I was told the best fries in Paris were at Chez L’Ami Louis….not even close!I wanted to have the salmon special because it looked like it had a broth from Moulin de Mougins outside Cannes (where I once had the best bouillabaisse), but sadly I was too full….Service was impeccable and happy diners all around! It is not ersatz French like Balthazar or Pastis in NYC. It is the genuine article!!Skip your ozempic shot this week and make a reservation!GO! Enjoy!Merci Beaucoup!

Truly a french Bistro experience, ambiance and service was fabulous. Terrine of Foie gras was delicious and authentic, and the brioche it was served with was perfect. Deviled Eggs were delicious, with French mustard very prevalent. Roast chicken was cooked perfectly, however both the salmon and trout, while good, were too salty - and we like salt! We noticed this had been a problem in other reviews as well, so it would serve the chef well to listen to this comment. We finished dinner with Profiteroles, which were wonderful. We would definitely go back again.

what a disappointment, what a scam! how can we afford to sell a meal for 4 people for 1200 euros and worse than eating in the canteen! snails that came straight out of a can, a terrible and overcooked pudding, and the rest worthless!

Had a beautiful dining experience in the outdoor courtyard space of Bouchon. My husband and I had reservations on a Friday night and were seated immediately, being asked if we preferred indoor or outdoor. We opted for outdoor and were led to a great spot that was also seated next to a window looking in the restaurant - the best of both worlds! I know some mention inside is crowded and loud but looking in the window, it honestly it didn't strike me as any worse than the Napa location, for which I felt like I was elbow-to-elbow with the table next to us. Our server, Wendy, was kind and made great conversation while also giving us her recommendations. We started with bread and some pistachios. Like others, I was a little surprised the bread was not served warm. Maybe because this Bouchon lacks a dedicated bakery like the Napa one? Bread was still good though, especially with the butter. Strangely, the nuts were served warm though! And they were delicious. For apps, we opted for some oysters, deviled eggs, and escargot. All of it was delicious but the deviled eggs were the standout for me, so flavorful. My husband got the steak frites and I got the lamb dish for the main. One of the other servers (or maybe someone in management, I wasn't sure! ) recommend we get the mushrooms as a side with our choices and this was a fantastic recommendation - the mushrooms may have been one of my favorite things and it wasn't even originally on my radar! My husband legally was going to order his steak medium rare and it was recommended to order medium due to the cut of steak (which was a bit thicker). This was the right call, it was still very juicy. My lamb was flavorful and delicious as well. We had the profiteroles for dessert which was elegantly served with a chocolate sauce poured on top (see video).

I recently dined at Bouchon and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the service lacked attentiveness. We were initially directed to the bar area where, despite our attempts to engage with the bartender, we were overlooked and left without even a glass of water. Upon finally being seated, our hopes for improvement were dashed. The delay in taking our orders was considerable, and the wait for our food seemed interminable. When the dishes did arrive, the quality was disappointing. The supposedly signature onion soup was served cold, lacking the comforting warmth and flavor one expects. The chicken dish, meanwhile, had a texture reminiscent of rubber, far from what one anticipates from a reputable restaurant. Adding insult to injury, our requests for beverages went unanswered, leaving us feeling neglected and disrespected as patrons. In conclusion, my visit to Bouchon was marred by a series of disappointments, from the lack of attentive service to the subpar quality of the cuisine. This experience stands out as one of the most unsatisfactory dining encounters I have had in recent memory.

This particular Bouchon bistro doesn't offer the same French bistro staples as the Yountville location. Not sure why "orejas" are on the menu (?). We went 3 times for diner and I haven't seen the millefeuille advertised on Instagram either. The restaurant has a noisy atmosphere, and the music is too loud for such establishment. Another non sense is charging customers for Coral Gables filtered water.

This restaurant has a very nice decor, and is vibrant and animated. Unfortunately, the food is subpar - My Trout was as salty as Bakala (salted cod) and my wife's Steak Frites came with terribly salted herb butter and super salted fries- although the steak itself was very good. After waiting long to receive just 2 glasses of wine, we waited over 15 minutes for our appetizer (Pate de Campagne) - my waiter just told me "Things take time" - and then another twenty minutes after our appetizer for our main course. We were afraid to order dessert. For a $200+ meal, with terribly slow service and super salted food, I don't see any reason to dine here againWe expected much better from Chef Keller

Disappointing. We love French food and were very excited about this place. The main problem was their service. It took forever to get our main course and when it came it was okay not even good. We were never offered another drink or refill water. The server never apologized for the delay. We really wanted to like this place but definitely not great. With so many options in the area, we would go anywhere else next time.

The host started with a warm welcome and after mentioning our name for the reservation her attention went all to the computer. Blaming it after a minute we were welcomed to sit. For an anniversary table reservation of almost 2 months in advance, I was expecting a better table. But between 2 other tables it is.The service from Geraldo was perfect from beginning to end. Mostly aware of our anniversary and my allergies. A++!We appreciated getting service from 3 or 4 more staff members when it came to refilling water, bringing the plates, checking up on us retreating dishes.I was disappointed on the gnocchi entree as it was extremely salty. My wife who loves salty foods agreed it was way to salty. Unfortunately send it back and decided to change plates. The rest of the dinning experience altered a little due to the amount of salt already on my pallet. I could not eat the whole plate and I just had to continue drinking water. That aside it went well. We were given a lemon tart for dessert on the house. Unknown if it was because of our anniversary or the inconvenience of the salty gnocchi, we are thankful.A few other observations during our experience;- I overheard the waiter mention to one couple seated next to us that they were also celebrating an anniversary. And the other couple sat on the other side had the same allergies I had. Now, I don’t know if this is a technique of organization to place anniversaries or allergies in the same area but it was questionable, did this alter my area of reservation? I would recommend the waiter or host to keep their volumes a little lower when mentioning personal information too.- Earlier sitting down on our table and listening to today’s special, my wife wanted the tuna tartar. The waiter sold it well, but the couple who got the check next to us out loud mentioned, “the tuna tartar was 65 dollars?!” And my wife’s eyes opened and asked, the reply was “it was good, but not worth 65.” Moments later I noticed the blackboard next to the bar with the specials and prices. It would have been nicer to mention prices with the specials. The couple shocked on the price may have altered their overall experience. The ambience of the place is astonishing beautiful, well decorated, clean, organized, professionalism, and all effortlessly managed with a friendly staff. It was a little loud my wife would add and she loved the drink she had, but mentioned too expensive, like the tuna we didn’t have.I would admit that the place and the experience went well, it was a good experience. We will not be returning as the attention to detail requires minor improvement, but I’ll recommend Bouchon Bistro for those who crave a getaway fine dinning in a Classy environment without the 9 hour flight to Paris.Parking: Easier parking found behind the building. And be careful with the residential parking were permits are required.

Don't fall for the hype. For a bistro, the menu was quite typical of what's expected. However, the prices were way too expensive for the offerings. The quality of the food was good but not amazing. I expected amazing from Thomas Keller. I was prepared for an experience. Didn't happen. Sadly the service was super slow. Even getting water was a mission. I won't be back. There is another French bistro close by who will continue to get my business.
