“My husband and I still remember the first time we spoke to Brian on the phone. We had just booked our venue and were going back and forth on which caterer to go with, so we went to eat at one of the other caterers' restaurants to see how the food was, and while we were eating, we got a call from Brian. After 5 minutes of talking on the phone, we left the restaurant and knew we wanted to go with DCFG. He was so real and down to earth. A lot of other vendors we have worked with, you could tell it was strictly business, but with him, we felt that he genuinely cared about what we wanted for our wedding weekend. DCFG was there to help us every single step of the way. Probably sending over 100 emails back and forth, they promptly responded to ALL of our questions and menu/guest changes lol. Never once making us feel like we were bothering or annoying them. We were blown away by their professionalism/communication throughout the entire planning process and then fast forward to the wedding weekend, we were blown away by the quality/taste of all the food that they prepared for us as well as the service. My daughter got married a few days ago and everything was absolutely perfect - in large part because of the venue we chose for the reception...The Coco Plum. The venue is historic, making it beautiful and very cozy. We had considered a hotel but when we went to The Coco Plum there was no hotel that could possibly offer the vibe that Coco Plum offers. In addition, the staff is incredible starting with the Senior Event Coordinator, Rosie Hayden. Rosie is loving, understanding, full of great ideas, and most importantly always aims to please the bride. She understood our vision and executed it to perfection. The food was absolutely delicious. The appetizers tasted fresh and just-made and the food arrived at the tables warm. The Chef not only provided a tasty meal but was also extremely nice. As the mother of the bride, I was running around and did not get a chance to try the hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour and when he found out he went and made me some. “Best food & Stellar Customer Service Harvey's BBQ kitchen 13920 SW 139th CT Miami FL 33186 We drove 4 hours to Homestead Florida for a family reunion on Sunday July 3, 2022. I was tasked to find a local caterer not knowing the area I just checked reviews on the web 2 days prior. The best decision I ever made was choosing Harvey's barbecue kitchen. The manager Natalie Alexander replied promptly to my request for this large last-minute catering for 54 people. Professional and courteous, she guided me through the application process in a way that made me feel comfortable. I had one hiccup with the delivery location, which, let me tell you was not even an issue because the delivery person "Carla" went above and beyond to make sure that I had our order on time and still hot. She even let me HAVE THE THERMAL delivery bag to keep my food exceptionally hot while we journeyed the additional 1 hour to the venue. Carla was amazing and so kind. She provided last minute instructions for the food and was gone. My family's response "Best food ever". This was real chicken like your mama made on the barbecue in the backyard. Soooo .. good ! The chicken was succulent, the sauce was flavorful, the coleslaw was light and refreshing. Do yourself a favor!
