We have been going for the lunch specials again recently and feel there is no better value anywhere. A note of caution if ordering spiced dishes. Order at least 2 levels less spicy than you would think.

“The moment we walked in we were greeted with the most wonderful greeting by Tan. He was attentive, joyful, welcoming and showed so much excitement for our arrival just as if we were family coming to visit. Our waitress Mimi treated us just the same. Her service made us feel so comfy and welcome and she was also very attentive. When she introduced herself she even asked us for our names. Such a nice personal touch! The sushi rolls we ordered were absolutely delicious and fresh and the drinks were fantastic. The restaurant ambiance was bright, clean and spacious. And to top it off as we were walking toward the door to leave standing there was Mimi and Tan sending us off with their smiles and hugs. Tan, you are such a bright, joyful light! This was our first time here and will definitely not be the last.“

“Usually here for the excellent sushi but we decided to try the Thai dishes on this visit. Almost everything was delicious. Spicy edamame to start was excellent! Beef salad that we had before as "medium spicy” was so hot that we backed down to mild this time - our mistake. It was too mild. Glass noodles with chicken was the same - a bit too mild but again that's on us learning their heat scale. Both dishes were excellent but could have used a little more kick. The only dish I wouldn't order again is the Pad Thai. It was dripping in a red sauce that was very sweet. Haven't experienced a sweet sauce on Pad Thai before. Brought the left overs home and rinsed the sauce off 1/2 the Pad Thai and mixed it back in to reduce the sauce. Improved but still not my favorite. Service was great. Noise level is a bit high when they're busy so conversations can be a bit challenging but not impossible. All in all still one of the best in the area.“

“My partner and I try to eat here at least three times a month. It has become our favorite local restaurant. The service is always wonderful, and the food is always delicious. My favorite dishes are the panang curry and the green curry, but everything we've tried on the menu has been great. Their Japanese dishes are wonderful too! We especially like the lover spicy tuna roll. I can't say enough good things about Thai Curry restaurant. I always look forward to eating here all week long.

“Very cute little restaurant near the hospital with prompt service and fresh sushi and food. The woman who helped us was extremely attentive and brought everything out exactly the way we ordered it. Our food was tasty and well prepared my only complaint was that the lunch Sashimi I ordered was cut kind of hastily and thicker than I usually see in most restaurants. One of the pieces of escolar that I got was pretty tough and stringy. Same for one of the pieces of nigiri tuna. Other than that the restaurant is nicely decorated feels peaceful and as stated before the service was great“

“Best Pad Thai Sushi Z I've had in the US. That's my favorite Thai dish and Thai Sushi Z nailed it- all meat was perfectly minced with fried egg on top and incredible sauce. Flavors were the most authentic I've had since living in Thailand. Everyone else out our table was similarly wow'ed by their entree.Som Tom was excellent and my first time there came with an option of raw shrimp on top. This was outstanding and came with about 7 raw shrimp. We ordered this about a 6-7 out of 10 on the spicy level. I would say that was spot on.“

“First time going to Kubo and the food, service, and atmosphere was all great. I had the Hawaiian Poke bowl, and my partner had to the Unagi (Eel) Poke bowl. We were both very happy and satisfied with our main dish. The miso soup was little over salted but a splash of water calmed that down real quick. I ordered an app of Tako Yaki which I also enjoyed, just wished they gave 6 instead of 5 balls lol.
My friend that was there as well ordered like the fried chicken bao bun. It was so good she placed a 2nd order after getting her main dish of Shoyu Ramen, which she also thoroughly enjoyed. Had to loosen a button after that meal
We do plan on coming back to again to try more of their great food and maybe even get a dessert because I saw on the menu there was a basque cheesecake that I really wanna try 😅“

“My wife and I enjoyed a dinner together here. Them our meals were very good. My wife had a Key West dinner and I had Penang curry with seafood. Both were excellent and the portions generous. We split a calamari salad and it was great! Servers were thorough and friendly. It was obvious this restaurant enjoys many return customers and many seems to personally know the servers. They also had a very robust carry-out business. I can’t belive we have lived here so long, drive past this place so often and never stopped. We will definitely be back soon!“

I had their Wonton soup and Spring rolls for an appetizer. The soup was tasty and a large bowl of soup. Each chicken wonton was very good. The spring rolls were cooked just right along with the dipping sauce had the perfect amount of spice. My main course I had 2 sushi rolls. The Rainbow Dragon roll and the tempura tuna roll. Both were so good and each had 12 pieces. The presentation of the rolls was nice too. I couldn’t stop eating all the food it was so good. Service was fast, and very pleasant. I will come back here again and again.“

“I never had Pinoy food before, and I wasn't expecting much, but I was really pleasantly surprised!!! EVERYTHING was delicious, my family and I got four dishes to share from here and loved them all. The Bistek Tagalog and Lumpia were the best, I'm already hungry again thinking about them. The Bistek Tagalog was flavorful but not spicy, and so tender and good! The Lumpia were crispy yet soft and warm. The chef and the man who took my order were both also very nice! Please eat this!“
