“For a while, I thought my mouth had lost all taste until I tried the Casual Bird in Port Orange. I am not a big sandwich person, but my husband and I decided to give this place a try. Words can't describe the party going on in my mouth after taking a bite. Not only was the sandwich outstanding, but the sweet potato casserole side was just like eating a fresh pumpkin pie. I ordered the Summer Breeze, which includes roasted turkey, brie, apples, and is served with cranberry mayo. The place is super clean, and the food was neatly presented even for a to-go order. The pickle was crispy and fresh! Thank you to the team serving up terrific food over there.“
“What a refreshing change of pace in a touristy grease bar food area. We were so thrilled with the atmosphere and service. The staff was so wonderful and the cuisine reminded me of being back in Greece. I recommend this to anyone who wants amazing cultural food!! So amazing!!!“
“If you like Indian food, this is the place! The number of choices is huge and if you like different types of sauces, it’s unbelievable. Have tried the butter chicken, chicken korma and lamb saag; all get 5 stars! Service was friendly and excellant.Parking: Plenty of parking“
“The Porch serves delicious Acai Bowls, my personal favorite is "the tropical" and I love their blueberry crumbcake ice/hot tea! Also, they now serve amazing sandwiches and kumbucha! I love the Pina Coloda one! We live 35 minutes away but are regulars because how excellent their food and service is!“
“Wow - best ice cream I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of great ice cream in the past 30 years! I had the pistachio ice cream in a waffle cone and my husband had cookie dough - both were so flavorful and worth every penny!Dietary restrictions: Dairy free options“
“Absolutely the friendliest atmospher, nicest owners and best meal we have had in Port Orange!! The owners make it all in house fresh! Wife had Meatball panini (Kofte) and I had the Gyro panini (Doner). We also had homemade Marmalade Cheese and Carrot Cake for dessert.“
“The most beautiful cafe with wonderful food and drinks! I absolutely love visiting every time I am in town bc of its perfect atmosphere. The owner is so sweet and I always love her recommendations every time. This is exactly what Ormond needed!“
“Food was fantastic with generous portions. The workers were all in matching chef coats which creates an atmosphere of quality. The desserts looked delicious. I am glad that I wore my Groove belt that had a little extra stretch that morning. I would love to go there again when we are in town to visit my daughter.“
“First of all, the owners are so welcoming recommending food according to my hunger. Anyway, I had the bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich and it was delicious one of the best I’ve ever had. As I enjoyed my meal I noticed there were mostly repeat customers and that’s enough said. Check them out you won’t regret it.“
“We are sort of sad we didn't know about this place sooner! The staff is so kind and welcoming, regardless of how busy they are. We have dinned in twice for breakfast and the food was fantastic each time. Their waffles are my favorite! I would go understanding that there may be a wait but come with extra quarters to play pinball to pass the time.Kid-friendliness: My girls are thrilled with the pinball machines and chocolate chip pancakes.“
“This is by far the best coffee and doughnut shop in the Daytona Beach area. I love their Carmello which is a Carmel Macchiato Espresso-based coffee. They also have incredible bagels and croissants to which you can add cheese, bacon, ham, sausage, and/or egg too. Don't forget the munchkins! They have a jelly-filled muchkin which is out of this world. If I could have a last meal, it would include these little yummies and a Carmello. lol You can get hot doughnuts first thing in the morning. Got to be there when they open.“
“I visit Ormond Beach often, usually a week at a time and I use the gym across from Foxtail Coffee every day I am there, sometimes more than a couple times a day. My wife too, she loves the coffee, but also thinks the ice cream is delicious. The product there is terrific. I look forward to my Foxtail each and every day when I'm there. I would be remiss if I didn't also express what a terrific staff there is always serving. It's a great crew of young people, Alejandro, all of them, just very bright, pleasant and efficient. They are always doing something, helping customers, cleaning, it's just a very nice atmosphere there. Sometimes I'm in a hurry, sometimes I sit and read, I just love your store and staff. That's it, just like to post the positives when I get the chance! Thanks for a great coffee shop and crew!“
“This is the first Kava bar I ever tried and now I’m hooked. The drinks are pretty strong and you get your moneys worth. The vibes are good! For me it was an intimidating atmosphere at first and I would get my drinks and go. Now that I’m a regular here and actually stay and hangout, I’ve gotten to know so many people that I enjoy seeing! As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, it’s nice to still have a “bar” for socializing. The best part is they have BOGO hours throughout the week, as well as the clover app that helps you earn rewards. So although I choose to spend way too much of my money here, this helps offset it which is great! Just FYI - this is a dog friendly establishment and although most of the dogs are very sweet, some of them are large so if you’re afraid of dogs just a heads up. Last thing - eat before you come because they only have chips and slim Jim’s and you don’t want to drink this stuff on an empty stomach. There are multiple restaurants to walk to in the plaza though, so it works out.“
“Overall a cute place, definitely has a stuck up artist vibe to it but try to overlook that. We thought the iced lattes were great. Expect $7 for a 24 ounce, and expect more if you don’t want whole milk, charging customers for nonfat is ridiculous. The staff is not friendly in the slightest but again try to overlook that. Definitely will try to visit again, but we will be taking our coffee to go.“
“Very long line past the doors to the back wall. Two young ladies working hard to try and keep things moving. Even though they were understaffed they didn't get frustrated they powered through. Rare to see that grit and hard work. The ice cream was good too.“
“Cozy, beautiful, and unique atmosphere! Great seating and some of the best and smoothest coffee we have ever had. Even the mugs are cool. The owner Corrie was super friendly! Loved everything about it, especially that its a non profit and supporting a good cause:)“
“My party was rained out and I needed a miracle for my daughter’s birthday party. Bizy beaver saved the day and they were so helpful! We had the place to ourselves and a nice clean party room! The staff was excellent and very accommodating! Thanks again for making my little girls birthday an amazing day! I am so grateful ❤️ highly recommend!“
“Was your grandma or mother the ladies who made/served one of a kind home cooked meals that no else can come close to! No commercial restaurants or fast food restaurants come close.Well, you owe it to yourself to visit the Wild Rabbit Bistro on SR40 beach side in Ormond Beach across from the post office.Mouth watering may be an understatement because, well, once you go you’ll go again and again and again.Parking: Four on street, free parking lot on right just before the bistro.“
“I came to Island Roasters for my morning coffee and had a nice experience. I ordered an iced peppermint mocha and thought the flavors were great. The peppermint was not overwhelming like other drinks I have had with peppermint. My partner ordered a hot chai latte. He liked his chai latte. The service was nice as well as the atmosphere. I will be back to Island Roasters on my next trip to New Smyrna Beach.“
“Best maple coconut matcha ever!!! Such a cute little hidden gem in the down town area of New Smyrna Beach.. really friendly people with baked goods and smoothies... large outdoor area to sit off the main busy street and just relax for a bit...“
“Second time at Copperline today. Girls up front were really kind and knowledgeable of the menu. Very chill space inside, much bigger than most coffee shops. Fairly quiet and good energy. Had a lavender & chamomile tea last time, OJ & a waffle this time, all excellent.“
“Yummiest donuts I’ve ever had. They’re made fresh and warm. Texture is very cakey so they’re very different than Dunkin or even Krispy Kreme. They have a wide selection of donuts to choose from or you can pick your own dough, toppings and drizzle. Highly recommended!“
“Venetian Bay needed a place like this. The coffee and drinks are top-notch, the food is wonderful, and the service is fast and friendly. They even serve beer and mimosas for brunch lovers. If you're looking for a different type of coffee spot in Volusia, please give this place a try!“
“Very beautiful place!! The interior design is exquisite. The staff was super friendly. I got an Iced Chai Latte and a butter croissant. The croissant was a little cold, but still delicious. The chai was very tasty. 10/10 would recommend anyone in Daytona to try this place out!“
“This quaint shop has a really mom and pop like feel. We got there after noon, so I can only speak about what we saw and had. So, with that being said, I had the cinnamon roll. This was thin about one inch to one and a half inches thick. It was very tasty and had just the right amount of glaze. It was, however, a little dry, but it may have been due to the time of day to be fair. My wife had the apple fritter, and her eyes rolled back and didn't say anything until she was about halfway through. She pointed out the middle of the fritter was doughy. But other than that, she said it was amazing.“
“Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Flagler Avenue is a quiet patio with tables and chairs, umbrellas, and fans on hot days. This patio is shared by a few restaurants. We visited Lil Dog Bar on Monday because this New Yorker was in the mood for a good hot dog. Lil Dog Bar did not disappoint. I had a dog with brown mustard and relish. My husband had the Johnny, topped with beef chili, chopped onions, and brown mustard and he thought he was really good. There are also retail stores surrounding the patio so you can do a bit of window shopping while you eat.“
“Read the reviews (even the negative, one stars) and decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed! The recovery muffin was exactly what we had been craving for a couple days! They are made with real spinach! The coffee was excellent as was the service. In fact, we bought some of their coffee to take back to Reno as gifts“
“Kid-friendliness: it’s very gourmet donuts that kids would love like fruity pebbles, french toast, banana pudding, etc and kids would love it and they have kid friendly drinks like chocolate milk, lemonade, white milk, and coffee for parents! Friendly staff!“
“First, this is a great little coffee shop. Nice and new and clean. I gave 5 stars because of this and the service. However, there is no WiFi which will keep me from returning until they get WiFi. A coffee shop, especially a local owned business can’t survive and thrive without WiFi it’s a basic requirement. Additionally they charged me a $1 more than what the price was listed for a 16 oz cold brew. I didn’t say anything because I’m happy to contribute to small businesses, but they should fix this because most people wouldn’t want to be overcharged. This place has great potential but they need to draw business as it was empty. With a few tweaks and some advertising they could survive and thrive.“
“Went today for the first time. Wonderful experience.Loved my coffee, so happy to see they had snacks/pastries there. My kids loved the indoor playground.Friendly staff and great place for young kids.Apparently there is a story time Thursdays at 10 with a craft that we will have to check out“
“Very delicious and consistent spot. There's plenty of seating & many food and drink options. In the mornings they serve homemade biscuits and fried chicken with a variety of toppings like gravy, pimiento cheese, preserves, and more. In the afternoon, they offer croissant sandwiches. (I would not recommend the pimiento cheese and biscuit as it was very cheese heavy unless you like that! The flavor was good, just too much). Now for the coffee...it is delicious! To me it has some chocolate and nutty notes and is not too acidic. I normally order an oat milk latte with a seasonal flavor or their signature honeysuckle. I find the drinks to be sweet so heads up if you don't like drinks too sweet like me. During holidays they offer cider and flavors like gingerbread. If I lived in the area this would definitely be a go-to spot for me as the vibe is more relaxed and quiet enough to study or get some work done! It's worth checking out!“
“Boy, Do I love this little restaurant. It is forever busy and only open until 2 pm so you really have to hustle to be there early. Well, even when you're early you might still have to wait. Patrons do not give up their seats quite readily. The place is always jammed to capacity and the servers are always in the weeds.(restaurant talk for not enough time or someone else to help out) BUT these ladies are AMAZING. They do their jobs well. I really appreciate them for how busy they are. Now, the food. Such good food. They serve it the way you want it. They are very accommodating about this. Unfortunately, these servers have to split their tips so please tip well. No, do not think you can slip one an extra tip because they will get FIRED for that. Prices are exceptional $ Customers are friendly. Everyone likes to talk to one another. And while you're waiting for a table to open, Did I mention first come first served? Yep, We (me included) watch for a table or booth like a vulture ready to strike HAHA Support your Local businesses please“
“I love stopping here when visiting. The smoothies are good and healthy and the staff are always friendly. I was just really bummed this morning when i went an hour after they were supposed to be opened but they were closed with no explanation. I tried calling the number but no answer.“
“One only has to walk through the front door of Galerie Elan to immediately enjoy the beautiful historic building showcasing an amazing aray of talented and creative artists. The historic setting and delightful art invokes a feeling of calming appreciation. Please enjoy a visit.“
“Much more than the Coffee Shop banner would lead you to believe. Food was good ole down home cooking. The friendly staff are delighted to serve you. The food was delicious, especially the grilled biscuits.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options“
“I used to roast because the store bought coffee is bad and stale. If you look closely, store bought comes with a use by date. Lucky to have Steel Oak in town. They label roasted on date on the package. Fresh, consistent and top notch quality and flavor. Keep it up Steel Oak!“
“Dinner service at Don Rico’s was a pleasant surprise. The service was attentive (Danielle was amazing ) but what blew me away was Chef Brandon’s special. He gets a fresh catch each week and offers seasonal specials. I had the Mahi curry with jasmine rice and for a beachside sports bar, this was a meal I would find at a fine dining experience. If you are at the resort don’t judge dinner service by the lunch - it is a total 360.“
“Ormond Beach, FL. Originating in Michigan, this location is the first Biggby Coffee to open in Florida. I walked in needing caffeine and was greeted by someone who was either the owner or manager who welcomed me, explained the menu, gave recommendations and answered my questions. “Biggby Coffee doesn’t have corporate offices. We are entrepreneurs passionate about Biggby Coffee.”I got the 16 oz. mint mocha latte which is on the regular menu. It’s made with dark chocolate, mint, and optional whipped cream, yummmmm. This week they still have the seasonal peppermint mocha with candy cane topping on whipped cream and another snow mint mocha made with white chocolate and mint candy topping. If you’re like me and are missing peppermint mochas cry no more, get you some Biggby’s.If I hadn’t had dinner I’d have tried the Bragel, a breakfast bagel sandwich which sounded amazing.A sign said “Show us your tattoo and get $1 off!” Not sure how long that’ll be offered so if you have a tat you and are wanting great coffee don’t let the grass grow under your feet.“
“I really enjoy the shakes this place offers and I am a big fan of the nutter butter shake because peanut butter rocks!!!!! The nutter butter has 29 grams of protein and without whip cream about 300 calories. Must go here before your workout because it was only $7“
“They were on top of it. The hot glaze would make you come back for more. The selection was good. Service at the counter helped us out. Not too many angles to see the kitchen in operation. They sell merchandise. Also the free krispy kreme bakers hats are available. The parking lot is on the small side. Can be tough leaving because of the busy corner. 1 handicap spot in front of entrance.“
“The coffee was great. We had been looking around for decent coffee (not gas station coffee). It's hard to find around here! The service was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. My only recommendation would be to maybe have a sign on the front sidewalk so it's a bit easier to find if you're not expecting the coffee shop to be in a church. We drove around the lot looking for it before I decided to trust Google maps and go into the building where it said this shop would be.Excellent, thank you for serving good coffee. :)“
“Owner is super cool! Stopped b4 closing with my daughter & she played connect 4 with her, while we ate the amazing ice cream! Will def make this my new ice cream spot whenever i am down here! Many yummy flavors, super clean & multiple games to plaz @ your table, it has an old school feel & I was so excited to see ROCK CANDY!“
