I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and portions. It appears to be a family owned establishment that feeds you like one of their own.
I will be back when in town again.
The food was good, but I only received a small amount of beef (maybe 6 bites) in my order of Mongolian beef. Most all of the meal was onions...just a little disappointing. My daughter ordered teriyaki chicken and the portion was great for her, but the teriyaki sauce was super thick, so she didn't like it. The thickness was more like you see for sweet and sour chicken when it is more thick.
Been going here for 11 years. Good food.

China-1 is a great place for delicious Chinese food. With friendly service and generous portions, it offers a good lunch special. The kid-friendly atmosphere and lovely music make it a top choice. Customers especially enjoy their dumplings, which are handmade with a thick dough around solid meat filling, and the egg rolls, which are homemade and probably the best ever. The beef and mixed vegetable dish is tender and flavorful, with vegetables that fall apart in the mouth. Fried rice is included with meals, and substitutions with white rice are available. The vegetable lo mein is loaded with actual chunks of vegetables and is perfectly done. The owners are very warm and welcoming, whether visitors are tourists or locals. This restaurant is highly recommended for anyone craving Chinese food in a welcoming setting.
