Staying at the Daytona Hilton at the beach. The Blind Turtle pool bar is great. Eric is here today, he makes a great mia tai and rum runner. The DJ is here this afternoon playing some great jams, it's overcast and perfect. Stop by if you want a great drink!
Our bar tender was very nice and being there on beach is enjoyable. Didn’t try the food
Dinner service at Don Rico’s was a pleasant surprise. The service was attentive (Danielle was amazing ) but what blew me away was Chef Brandon’s special. He gets a fresh catch each week and offers seasonal specials. I had the Mahi curry with jasmine rice and for a beachside sports bar, this was a meal I would find at a fine dining experience. If you are at the resort don’t judge dinner service by the lunch - it is a total 360.
