“We came from Jacksonville to visit the springs and stopped in for a quick bite before our boat tour. I have to be honest, at first we were going to keep driving when we saw the outside. It kinda looked run down, not av ton of cars at that moment. But we decided to give a local like place a try! Boy were we SO happy we did!! The inside was so welcoming, so beautiful, so well decorated, beautiful bar, even the bathrooms were unique and so clean! And the food was some of the best food I’ve ever had!!! We brought 4 kids and they played a couple games of darts, service was incredible, everyone smiling, locals came flooding in while we were there!! I highly recommend this incredible hidden gem! I can’t wait to go back and try other menu items!!! These are the places I absolutely LOVE!!!!!”

“I took my family to this charming restaurant after visiting it almost thirty years ago. \n\nFood was very good. Be prepared to enjoy a long meal expertly prepared. \n\nWe were treated to a birthday celebration with candles and a piano rendition of Happy Birthday. \n\nOur granddaughter was delightful and was treated to her own special meal too. \n\nJust as I had remembered. Sadly, my Mom and Dad are no longer with us but it brought back very happy memories. \n\nThank you for treating us so well. \n\nJMK.”

“The food and service are not an issue both are outstanding. This is a theme restaurant a theme I like I am old South? nostalgia means a lot to me I am certainly willing to pay anyone who can take me back to my childhood this place does just that. I have gotten to old to deal with crowds we go places like this in the off season. I would receive a bit of modernization reservations required and observed. The 18 percent gratuity has not been an issue because we have not had a bad experience if there is a manager on site to speak with should there be a problem there behavior would decide if we returned. Been going for year's I do believe the new management is a vast improvement.”

“I drive all the way from Charleston, SC to visit the wonderful Santorini Restaurant. I love the lamb shank, calamari and Athenian chicken. Everything is so delicious. Agatha and her staff are very friendly and attentive. A first class restaurant. Always a pleasure to visit.”

“Wander Bar is awesome! It’s absolutely beautiful, very clean and has a super cool vibe. The bartenders are talented, professional, very efficient, friendly and fun. This place has nailed a rare combo of extra classy while also laid back and chill. My husband played music here for the first time last night and we just can’t say enough great things! “Urban Brick - DeLand, FL I've been in the restaurant business for over 40 years, and I don't often write reviews -- but Urban Brick really deserves one! I've been here several times now, and every visit has been fantastic. The food is absolutely amazing -- full of flavor and clearly made with care. They're known for their Italian dishes, and as someone who once owned an Italian restaurant myself, I can honestly say they're doing it right. The service is excellent too -- friendly, attentive, and genuine. Last night I had the Spaghetti Bolognese, which was just perfect. My cousin had the catch of the day and said it was incredible. We finished with the tiramisu, and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. Huge thanks to whoever runs this wonderful place. You're doing an outstanding job. Can't wait to come back!”

“My son and I came to eat breakfast here on a whim.I had the Crab Benny. Can't remember what my son had b/c my head was in the CLOUDS!! They could have told me to sit on a stump outside to finish eating. I WOULD have! I live near to twisted biscuit diner in Tavares.Have eaten there often. THE biscuit at Deland Eatery!! Why go to TB anymore? I am forever spoiled by the quality and freshness.Light perfect biscuit. Why were they out of biscuits another reviewer asked ? Go eat before noon here. You will have eaten perfection!!”
