I haven't written a Google review in forever, and I am literally writing this one while sitting at the table after having an incredibly delicious breakfast with my hubby for Valentine's Day! Alli, our server, was fantastic, and we already can't wait to go back and ask for her next time! My hubby had the cookie dough waffle, bacon, and fried potatoes. I had the apple fritter French toast with blueberries, bacon, and scrambled eggs. My hubby likes his bacon wiggly, and I like mine cooked until it's crunchy, and they cooked everything perfectly! We also started with the cinnamon bun cold brew, holy frijoles, it was DELISH!! This is our new favorite breakfast spot and we will be bringing family and friends FOR SURE!! A customer behind my son in law and I was complaining about how long it took to receive his order. Matt kept his cool and offered to pay for the customer's dinner out of his pocket! That's going beyond the call of duty in my book. “The buffet had a great variety of staples we knew and some new dishes to try, all creamy and spiced perfectly (some heat, but not so much that it was too hot). Service was sweet and explained dishes to us, attentive to our table. Very clean restaurant as well. Definitely returning!“

“I’ve been here maybe 50 times 😂 either via uber eats or in person. The service is super quick, nice, and today, even a chef stepped up to the check out counter to make sure the process was quick and I didn’t have to wait on a check out person. The food never leaves me feeling sick, and they only use olive oil (vs canola or other sub par, cheap oil) - huge perk. For a vegan - this place is a huge win!!

“We've seen this place several times and decided to stop by and give it a try. The staff was very pleasant, service was fast, and continuous. They didn't just serve the food and forget about you. Our server kept checking in to make sure we were ok. The croissant sandwich was very filling and tasty. The home fries had good flavor. The waffles were good, and the chicken was OK. It seemed to be the same chicken that would be served as chicken strips. Overall tasty food and a nice experience. Will definitely stop in again for breakfast to try some other menu items.“

“My husband and I went to Fishbones Saturday night 10/12. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We ordered a lobster special and Chillean Sea bass. It was delicious. Warning with add ons. Didn't realize the Cesar salad was an upgrade including anchovies and bacon. The waiter was very attentive.“

I order 2 tonight and the last few times they've been skimpy on the meat and very small, not like the ones in the past, I've been getting lately and the chicken wings. I ask for extra sauce and there's no sauce on it at all. It's nothing but dry mild saucer is lucky if you find any sauce. Lately, that's how the chicken wings been and very disappointed.Seems like the portions are getting smaller.And they're charging more and I order daily from them.A lot“

Typically, I don't go for turkey sandwiches but their California Turkey Melt was delicious. Black peppered turkey, Applewood bacon, provolone cheese, and house honey mustard served on a hoagie roll. A great combination of flavors with perfect hot, crispy french fries to boot. This restaurant does feature an Oak Room that you can reserve for special occasions, a small bar area near the front entrance and outdoor seating. I would definitely recommend The VWC if you are looking to make an impression. And that beer cheddar soup with pretzel in the middle? I might just have to come back for that one.“

We met one of the owners, Colby, who walked us through a tasting of their spirits. We learned about how it all started and where things were headed. He also mixed us up some great cocktails! “Another very solid brewery, in a town with a lot of solid breweries (and taphouses and a distillery and an awesome authentic tiki bar). Family-friendly, with lots of indoor (tables, hightops, bar stools) and sidewalk seating, great people, and solid brews & hard seltzers. Definitely worth a stop while on your Sanford brewery hop (we hit all five on a recent trip!). Bring in your old race medal to add to their collection and get a free beer!“
