Never experienced such a welcoming dinner outside of movies I didn’t think it was an actual thing! Absolute delight talking to staff and owner even recommended me what he coined to be the best waffles ever which, I can confidently say he did not disappoint!! Definitely a must
Now that Mel's is back under new ownership, the restaurant is looking great on the inside, the wait staff was friendly and on top of their game! Go check it out for yourself, plus I hear the burgers are great!

Food was hot not lukewarm or cold. Friendly, no long wait for your meal. We had country fried steak with gravy, potatoes, biscuit and egg. They really were the best ever. Spouse had fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy and omelet. He loved every bite.
