“Niran's Kitchen is a true gem that never disappoints. We've visited several times, and despite the distance from Sunrise, it’s always worth the trip. Tucked away in a small strip plaza off Hillsboro & US 1, this cozy spot exudes a warm, inviting atmosphere. This time, we introduced another couple to the restaurant for their first experience, and it did not disappoint. We started with the highly recommended Sai Gok, a sour sausage dish with sticky rice—deliciously flavorful—and paired it with their refreshing Thai Tea. To share, we ordered the house rice and added the Thom Khem Pork. Availability can vary between pork or beef for this dish, but we were lucky to try the pork, which was braised to perfection, with a caramelized sweetness that coated the tender meat and the hard-boiled eggs cooked in the same rich juices. The Tom Kha, a coconut broth soup with chicken, was another standout. Their homemade noodles were the perfect complement, and the bowl was large enough for all of us to savor together. Of course, we couldn’t resist the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles), which had a delightful kick of heat and rich flavors that left us utterly satisfied. By the end of the meal, we were wonderfully full. To top off the evening, Vatsana, the owner, came out to chat with us. She shared the story of her journey into the restaurant world and her passion for food and culture, which truly shines through in every dish. If you're ever in the area, Niran’s Kitchen is a must-visit. It’s a mom-and-pop shop run by Vatsana and her husband, and they deserve all the support they can get. While they rely on snowbirds, locals should definitely make this a go-to spot year-round.”

“If you're going to order Hungry Howie's, from this Deerfield Beach location, I suggest you don't do it from Uber. Not just one time, but a good amount of times they don't pay any attention to special orders. All I asked for was no cheese and they couldn't do that. When I called them and told them they told me that either I can order it again through Uber which I would have to pay for it again, or I can drive and pick up what I ordered. What would be the point if I ordered it through Uber. I guess I wasn't important enough to have them send the right order to me even though they screwed it up again. When I went in again to pick up my food they offered me a very weak apology which didn't really mean much since that's all they offered even though they took a half hour out of my time to pick up what they were supposed to deliver. That is the end of my Hungry Howie's business. I will be sure to describe this situation on my podcast. pizza was burnt also”

“Very good restaurant. I had vaca frita (they forgot my platanos but I had one of my daughter’s and I’ve had better - theirs are drier than I prefer). I liked that they let me substitute a salad for the rice and beans at no charge. My daughter had ropa vieja with rice and beans and platanos. The portions were large (don’t let the small-looking bowl of meat fool you) and reasonably priced by today’s standards. We appreciated the fresh bread at the start. I’ve had more flavorful vaca frita elsewhere but this was adequate. My daughter enjoyed her meal. The decor was lovely with high, wood-beamed ceilings. I only wish they played salsa music instead of pop or whatever that was. This is a Cuban restaurant after all! Overall, I’d come back but I’d probably try a different dish.

“We love JBs and when we came a bit later in the afternoon there was a band playing then it switched to dinner. Great patio facing the beach and the service keeps up with busy times...The food is great and costs meet it with a family of four but the atmosphere is what really draws people here.

Parking: JBs is located on a busy bend by the pier in Deerfield. It has pedestrians, bicycles and a whole array of cars always being dropped off, the valets do a great job!”

This place doesn't just throw crazy things together for the heck of it. You can taste the care and passion in each ingredient. They all pop on their own, but come together to make a perfect symphony.

And the best part is that the prices are reasonable. Truly can't recommend this place enough!

Our hostess hooked us with her smile and pleasant suggestions to give them a shot. There were three of us, two had the grouper sandwich and I had the wrap. The sandwiches are huge! The rolls were fresh and fluffy. Definitely a must stop! We come fishing every year and definitely will be back. We caught Rick the manager on the way out and were able to share how pleased we were.”

I ordered the vegetable soup, and it was one of the best vegetable soup I had ever had quite condensed with tofu and the vegetables. I also ordered the spicy tuna sushi rolls excellent. I even like the seaweed wrap that they use, which was very different from other places that I have been a patron of. I will go again and make it one of my regular places to eat. I do agree with other reviews that it is some of the best sushi I have had in this particular area of Florida.”
