Bronx Bagels and Deli is a gem located on Powerline Road in Deerfield Beach. Owned by Michael Friedman, who moved to South Florida from the Bronx, the restaurant aims to bring the authentic flavors and atmosphere of New York to its customers. Situated across the street from Quiet Waters Park, the deli offers a small but adequate parking lot.

Bronx Bagels and Deli is a no-frills establishment with a Yankees baseball theme adorning the dining area. The menu is reasonably priced and mouth-watering, featuring a wide array of options, including omelets, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, salads, sandwiches, gourmet wraps named after the boroughs of New York, burgers, soups, smoked fish platters, and freshly baked goods such as New York-style boiled and baked bagels and bialys. The corned beef, pastrami, roast beef, and brisket are all popular choices.

Customers can choose to dine in or take their food to go. Once the order is ready, the friendly and efficient staff, especially Ray, will bring it out to the diners. The restaurant offers all-day breakfast and is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 am to 3 pm, and on Sundays from 7 am to 3 pm.

One customer, a self-proclaimed "Jersey girl," decided to try the Mick from the Bronx Bomber's section of the menu, named after the famous Yankee center fielder Mickey Mantle. The sandwich, featuring fresh sliced corned beef with melted Swiss and sauerkraut on grilled rye, was delicious and so large that the customer could only finish half. It was served with a side of hot and crispy fries, and the customer washed it down with a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda.

On the way out, the customer couldn't resist taking home some of the excellent bagels and a slice of the heavenly crumb cake that tasted just like home. The customer was impressed by the delicious food, good value, and friendly service, and recommends Bronx Bagels and Deli as the place to go for an authentic New York-style breakfast or lunch.
