“We have been coming to Deerfield Beach several times over the last year or so to attend to family business. Not an easy or pleasant visit. However, I want to (again) comment on the waiter at The Spotted Stag restaurant in the Doubletree Hotel . Surprisingly, the food there is quite good but even more worth mentioning is the young waiter at the restaurant. He is a young man of 20 and his name is Duy. He is bright and efficient. More than that though, he is friendly, accommodating and anxious to please. If you are ever in that area and need a place to stay ( or eat) I highly recommend The Spotted Stag and their amazing young waiter named Duy.“

“Came here for dinner with a large group for a very late dinner. They were about to close the kitchen and still accommodated us. It was very nice of them to allow us to dine and enjoy our time together after a long day of activities. There was a mix up with splitting the bill, but Muhammad, the manager, did an outstanding job of making everything right.

There was a few times I ordered to go from the bar, and Barbara, the bartender, was very genuine and kind. She was alone and was so good at multitasking, from taking phone orders to making conversation with me, to handling other patrons. She's such a hard worker.

During breakfast dine ins, the staff is attentive and kind. Pray, the manager, also did a wonderful job of checking in and asking how my dining experience was going. Overall, a good place to eat. Food is actually good for hotel food! I was pleasantly surprised.“

“Good Night John Boys is the best thing to come to Delray with its great 70's music will make you want to stay on the dance floor all night. When you are there its like being back at studio 54 or even being back at 2001 Odyssey were the original idea of the lighted dance floor came from. John Boys has a vibrant atmosphere like no other club in Delray has. If you have not been here yet then you are missing out on one of the best experience of your life.“

“On June 16, we went to Kaluz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate my mother’s 85th birthday. We are regulars at Kaluz to the point where we have the cell phone numbers of several employees. In a nutshell, Anthony, the manager, should not hold that position in a restaurant like Kaluz. My husband and Anthony exchanged words and Anthony’s solution to the issue was telling us, “You should not come back here. The owners do not want parties larger than five people.” My jaw dropped. I could not believe that a manager’s solution to an issue about seating us sooner, while we waited for two other people in our party, especially since my 85-year-old mother could not stand for long, was to tell us, on two separate occasions, that we should not come back. Anthony also put the entire blame on the owners of the restaurant. We go to Kaluz almost on a weekly basis, tip extremely well and have taken countless people there that have also ended up being regulars at Kaluz. No restaurant manager should EVER tell a customer, regular or not, to not come back regardless of the issue. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Kaluz as long as Anthony continues working“

I also got the kimchi fried rice and it was a very generous portion. tasted amazing. i would absolutely recommend coming in here for some good eats. the server was very kind and attentive. one of the chef even came to me to check on me and see if i enjoyed his food which i did.“

We were worried that the small bites on the menu were not going to satisfy our hunger, but they were more than enough, on top of being delicious. The "tuna tartare tower" is my favorite, but they have lots of other appetizers that will please a variety of tastes. The libations are excellent as well as unique. Worth a try, if just for that.I heard they had love music, but that's not what made us try the joint. However, Angels Piano and her beautiful repertoire of songs is what made us stay till closing. “This is a cool bar that generally has really great live music. It's a small place but not overly tight, it has a little space to dance. I really liked the vibe and the type of music. The decorations are also very well done, the stage looks like a boat and there were some humorous signs. Recommended.“
