The employees could not stop raving about how delicious and creative the dishes were. Not only was the food a hit, but the customer service was outstanding. “This place is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely amazing—everything I tried was delicious, but the pupusa was hands-down the best. So flavorful and perfectly made! The atmosphere might not be fancy on the outside, but don’t let that fool you—the food is what matters, and it does not disappoint. On top of that, Alexia was such a pleasant person, full of great energy, which made the experience even better. If you're looking for authentic, incredible food and warm service, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be back!“

“Tight lines food shack surprised our guests after our wedding ceremony with sliders and fries. It was a huge hit amongst the guests. The food came out hot, fast, and very tasty. Alexia and Mike were so amazing to work with. They were responsive, kind, and accommodating. You could tell they were excited to be there and willing to do what it takes to help me wow my guests! “I found the Pork O’ Rican food truck at the Coral Springs Oktoberfest fest. My family is Puerto Rican, so I had to try some of their food. Their empanadas and bacalaitos were just like what I would have when my grandmother would come to visit! She is known for her cooking and their food was phenomenal! I can’t wait to find them at another event to try more.“

“My favorite Birria Quesadilla in the area. Always delicious, juicy, and they’re very generous with the consumé. My husband loves their tacos. I highly suggest the California burrito with steak. It’s absolutely phenomenal. They recently stared doing smash burgers and holy mother of knocked it out the park! Wish they had longer hours, but it’s easy to order ahead and just pick it up. There’s also a cute seating area nearby, some picnic tables and lights. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area. The kids meals are perfect, my kids are all burritos children. Their guacamole is flavorful and fresh. Their salsas are also very well seasoned and the red is the perfect spice level. 10/10 recommend.“

“Venezuelan burgers at Trino — trust me, ignore the outside and go in.
This Coral Springs location has only been open about a month. It used to be a Peruvian restaurant called Italo (same owner), and honestly the exterior still carries that awkward in-between energy. Blacked-out glass, neon, very much “is this a vape shop or an adult bookstore?” vibes.
Then you walk inside — and it’s a complete personality shift.
The interior is a full-on nerd shrine: Star Wars posters, Marvel art, retro signs, guitars on the wall, framed pop culture everywhere. Clean, bright, casual, and clearly meant to be fun. It feels intentional, not kitschy.
The food absolutely backs it up.
These are Venezuelan-style smash burgers — double patties, aggressively juicy, stacked with white cheese, Munster, bacon, potato stix, and a soft toasted bun that somehow holds together despite the chaos. You can see it in the cross-section: no dry beef, no filler, just meat, fat, cheese, and crunch.
But the real differentiator here is the sauce situation.
They bring out squeeze bottles like you’re about to conduct a science experiment:
• Ajo (garlic)
• Blue cheese (excellent)
• Bacon (ridiculous)
• Sweet corn (unexpectedly great)
• Trino sauce (tangy ranch-style)
Get fries for the table and just start mixing. This place understands that sauces are not a garnish — they’re the point.
Beyond burgers, the menu goes full Venezuelan and Colombian: perros (loaded hot dogs), cachapas (sweet corn pancake sandwiches), empanadas, patacones. This isn’t a burger place pretending to do Latin food — it’s Latin street food that happens to do burgers extremely well.
Bottom line:
The outside may make you hesitate. Don’t. Inside is fun, the burgers are legit, and the sauce game alone earns the visit.
A genuinely solid addition to Coral Springs — and one I’ll be going back to.“
