“We had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday. Our server Connor gave great recommendations. The tuna pizza and the 48-hour short ribs were faves, but the miso black cod was also insane. Truly everything was superb from the cocktails, to the saki to the dessert. We will definitely be back! Note that it is a very cheery atmosphere so it can be loud. I have pictures but can’t seem to add them to the review.“

“Very fresh excellent options. The last mgr, attitude remains be desired. Horace the rest of the staff can let me get past her rudeness. the & older lady hosts AWESOME! The man, not SURE owner or mgr HE went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND. I had ordered small appetizers was planning pick up on way home. However, I got stuck on side exit ramp getting off I-95. the lady mgr called HUNG UP ON ME.!!! after . next few minutes later the man called and was trying figure where I was. He wanted to come deliver my food to me. he said "I AM VERY SURE YOU'RE HUNGRY" (I WAS) ps instead come all way 95 asked him drop my house. HE DID to pix and gave to roommate (thought was asleep) he didn't care about the tip.. just wanted make sure I had something to eat. knowing I was writing since 7 am and was almost 11 pm. THAT IS IMPECCABLE SERVICE WITH SWEET KINDNESS ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! recommend 1000%“

“My favorite meal at Yama is....well, there are so many. Like Yakitori, Nigiri Tasting, Tuna Tartare, Special Yama roll, 2nd on 2nd roll, Chirashi, Spicy Pork Bulgogi then wash it down with a Lychee Martini. 🙌😋🙂“

“Second visit here. i loved the izakaya. i got the pork belly and the thin sliced beef. i was expecting at least two skewers but it is what it is. they were both very flavorful and i really enjoyed it. both visits i got a JB roll and it was great both times. I also got the kimchi fried rice and it was a very generous portion. tasted amazing. i would absolutely recommend coming in here for some good eats. the server was very kind and attentive. one of the chef even came to me to check on me and see if i enjoyed his food which i did.“

“I simply love everything about this restaurant, the staff are all amazing, the food is out of this world if you adore sushi. We had just the right amount of food and the other patrons have been so lovely every time we have gone. I always leave looking forward to the next reservation.“

“The food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were great too. The only negative is that you can't get a person to pick up the phone. I had a question regarding if they were dog friendly and I had to call about nine times before someone picked up the phone.“

1) The Chicken And Shrimp w/ white rice
2) Chicken Teriyaki w/ fried rice
3) Crab Rangoon

Their chicken and shrimp are NEVER EVER dry; the teriyaki sauce is sweet and savory; they use GOOD jasmine rice that heats up well the next day for leftovers (not cheap hard rice);
And their crab rangoons are LOADED with cream cheese (they don’t skimp out on filling); they give you a CONTAINER of yummy duck sauce with it; with extra packets in the side.

They also give you a PUNCH CARD, so after 6 orders, you get one full sized chicken teriyaki with vegetables and rice for FREE.

I love their consistency with their food quality. It’s what makes me drive out of the way to get their food.
