“Fast, delicous, fresh. Best prices than anywhere around, best value for money too. Cheaper thicker juicier rolls. Whoever's making it, you can tell they were properly trained. They know what they're doing, no half ass nigiri or uneven rolls. The salmon roll has so much salmon and so little rice, like, seriously, the perfect thin layer and it's even throughout. Tecnique is really superb, you see this in the nigiri, and the sashimi as well. No one else competes imo. I listed allergies and they actually called me about it to explain. I really appreciate that a lot of places don't care and you end up getting an allergic reaction“

“This is not a meal. It’s an experience. David was truly the host with the most, so accommodating to our group. The opening bites were gorgeous, especially the caviar dressed up as a sunflower. Then came one beautiful course after another, and the lobster in rich broth with shaved truffle was a standout. Watching the chef torch the fish right in front of us was half the fun. The nigiri was perfect: lean akami with real depth, melt-in-your-mouth otoro topped with caviar, and uni so fresh and sweet I'm still thinking about it. Freshly grated wasabi with every piece, as it should be.

We started with Jacquart Champagne and moved to Heavensake Junmai Daiginjo, served in a stunning gold-trimmed decanter. Dessert was a trio finished with gold leaf, and I somehow had room for all of it.

With only a handful of seats at the counter, it feels personal. The pacing was perfect, and the whole team made us feel taken care of. Worth every penny. We'll be back. Obsessed.“

“This little Japanese spot tucked in a strip mall blew me away the tonkatsu ramen had a rich porky broth with chewy noodles and a perfect soft egg the salmon skin roll was crispy and the gyoza were pan fried juicy with a crispy bottom. The staff was super freindly and kept my tea filled without me askin even gave us a free bowl of edamame. I been tellin all my freinds about this gem and im definately comin back for the spicy tuna don and black sesame ice cream next time“

“Blown away!! This is expensive but it's absolutely amazing! Treat yourself if you can for a very special occasion. With an automatic 20% tip, a brut wine, and a Japanese beer, our total was $600. Not sure how many courses were served but it's all single pieces to savor in one or two bites. Some memorable creations include a beautifully cooked piece of sea bass, a flight of bluefin tuna including the absolute highlight of oh toro with caviar, surprising great oyster with some roe on top (and I don't eat oysters), a sea urchin which was very good even though I'd normally never order one, a double bite of wagyu beef...so soft and melts in your mouth, and last a slice of whiskey spritzed crown melon which apparently costs over $150/melon. For the second dessert they provided a rice crisp ice cream sandwich - really unique and tasty. Oh and what a delicious miso soup! They have a huge list of Saki if your into that with the pinnacle offered at $2800 or maybe was $3800. Some other reasonably priced options. I have no recommendation here as we aren't saki drinkers. I was told by another patron that the menu can vary so you may not be served everything I noted but I imagine the tuna trio is a constant as it's incredible. As far as ambiance, it's a very intimate restaurant with just a sushi bar that might seat 12 people. The chef prepares the sushi right in front of you and explains what each item is. Also very receptive to questions and nice to get a little convo going with him and the other guests as you enjoy and discuss the delicacies. There is a second chef who works in the back to help with some of the cooked items and a very nice hostess who seats you and helps all night. Our reason for going? Well our $1600 vacation plans fell apart and so we decided to spend that money on a staycation and treat ourselves to some fantastic local restaurants.“

“Had my first experience last night for dinner, with my father (89 years young who is now eating with me in many sushi restaurants). Dad thoroughly enjoyed the egg drop soup and chicken teriyaki with vegetable fried rice! I had a fab roll (name: Rene Roll) with tuna tartare! The restaurant is conveniently located at Powerline and Palmetto near LA fitness. Such a beautiful and very clean environment with music and the Manager, Albert, was very welcoming and accommodating to our dietary needs. We will definitely be going back, and I am happily sharing this review to encourage others to check it out. (I.e. the Rene Roll 😇). Thank You Albert!!“

“I was so excited to try the Japanese Bocce Club during our stay at the Boca Raton! We made a reservation for 9:00 P.M. and it was PACKED. There was a wait time, but nothing too extreme. The design is beautiful, and the couches were extremely comfortable, but it was pretty loud which made it difficult to hear. Nothing came out notably fast, but I was never wondering what happened to our order. The food itself was EXCEPTIONAL and greatly exceeded my expectations. We tried a variety of things and they were all scrumptious! I highly recommend the Glazed Sticky BBQ Ribs (or something like that). They were packed with flavour, and the BBQ sauce was amazing! All of the appetizers, sushi, and desserts were great, but the miso soup was a little salty for my taste. Overall, this restaurant was delicious and I highly recommend! We will definitely be back in the future!“

“So our family (well kids to be specific) has always had a tradition of going out to Hibachi for birthdays. For years we were going to Saitos on Lyons and Glades then they closed down. Honestly was never my favorite, but tradition is tradition. So we moved on to Benihana’s. Well don’t be fooled by the name. Their food and particularly their service was waaay below PAR. Anyways getting to the point, we wanted to try a new spot and stumbled on Saiko-I. From the first few minutes after being seated we could already tell the dramatic difference. The service was on point. Drinks served immediately, appetizers and meals ordered shortly after. Then came the chef. He was fun, entertaining, funny and efficient. The food was probably the best hibachi I’ve had. None of the one item at a time nonsense you get at the other places. And they used much less of the butter and other garbage they throw in at other spots. At the end of our meal we complemented the GM and she went out of her way to make our business feel appreciated. The staff here was friendly, classy and fun, and the food was amazing. Found our new spot! No this is not a solicited review, I was just super impressed with this place. Shout out the server Hector, chef Javier and GM Ouray.“
