Food is great both sushi and thai, which is rare, fast service, very attentive. I am very picky with my sushi and thai food and i have to say the food was excellent. After a while I kind of just gave up looking because the majority of the Chinese spots down here are just sub par to put it nicely lol. “It’s been several years since our last visit to the gardens, which are beautiful, but this is about the cafe, before you sat down with a menu and are greeted by a waiter/waitress. Order and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. This time you order at the cash cash register, after a brief look at a menu board, given a number and hope you find a place to sit. The food was very good but I did not have the same feeling of being relaxed, I was going to have two bottles refilled of their wonderfull house salad. I was told I would have to get back in line for that, ( maybe my error). I did not like their new system which works fine for the cafe but not so much for the customer. I really like eating there after enjoying the garden but may rethink that option on my next trip.“

I wasn’t crazy about that one because I’m not a fan of that style fried dumplings (tasted like the Chinese fast food egg roll, which I’m not into ), and because I didn’t eat the bento until almost an hour later the salad that was drenched in sauce that was too strong/spicy/odd tasting was super soggy, so I didn’t eat that either. The 4 pieces of Cali roll was okay.I would just order a separate order of whatever sushi roll you like, along with your plate of choice instead of the bento , but that’s just me. I also had the fried shrimp roll, and that was ok also. The sushi rice didn’t taste like that sushi flavoring I like, but hey it wasn’t pricey, so can’t really complain.We enjoyed the chicken rice plate the best, and look forward to trying the other menu items. I enjoyed the white rice that was served with it also.
