I think it’s family owned, and the server was phenomenal. While I was waiting for my food, she interacted with people like they were more than customers. The space and their hospitality really drive social dining, making the experience feel more personal rather than just another meal.

This isn't your average sushi spot—it’s a definitely a unique find with a Latin twist. I noticed most of the rolls come with cream cheese, but I prefer mine without; I asked them to accommodate and they did so without any issues. So good!“

She went above and beyond with her sushi recommendations and completely knocked it out of the park. We even asked her to surprise us—and WOW—every dish she chose was perfect. You can tell she is incredibly seasoned at her craft. She doesn’t just serve food, she creates an experience.
Cisame has a rare gift. She makes you feel welcomed, valued, and excited about every course. Her passion, knowledge, and attention to detail truly set her apart. I write reviews often, but this one takes the sushi! 🍣😂

“WOW! I can not tell you how long I have waited to try this place. We are from out of state (NC) and were suppose to go last May. Thankfully we finally made it here. The dishes were fantastic. The best Asian American food I have had - and I'm Asian. The server was so nice and we even talked about some Asian culture while we dined. We will definitely make this our spot when in Fort Lauderdale!“

They even still include noodles which most other spots have done away with, for less $. Might be my new hibachi go to! 😋“

“Found this place on Trip advisor when I was in town for business. Looked like it would be a good place to try out. This is a Great place to go if you are in the mood for tasty food. I had their Wonton soup and Spring rolls for an appetizer. The soup was tasty and a large bowl of soup. Each chicken wonton was very good. The spring rolls were cooked just right along with the dipping sauce had the perfect amount of spice. My main course I had 2 sushi rolls. The Rainbow Dragon roll and the tempura tuna roll. Both were so good and each had 12 pieces. The presentation of the rolls was nice too. I couldn’t stop eating all the food it was so good. Service was fast, and very pleasant. I will come back here again and again.“

“So our family (well kids to be specific) has always had a tradition of going out to Hibachi for birthdays. For years we were going to Saitos on Lyons and Glades then they closed down. Honestly was never my favorite, but tradition is tradition. So we moved on to Benihana’s. Well don’t be fooled by the name. Their food and particularly their service was waaay below PAR. Anyways getting to the point, we wanted to try a new spot and stumbled on Saiko-I. From the first few minutes after being seated we could already tell the dramatic difference. The service was on point. Drinks served immediately, appetizers and meals ordered shortly after. Then came the chef. He was fun, entertaining, funny and efficient. The food was probably the best hibachi I’ve had. None of the one item at a time nonsense you get at the other places. And they used much less of the butter and other garbage they throw in at other spots. At the end of our meal we complemented the GM and she went out of her way to make our business feel appreciated. The staff here was friendly, classy and fun, and the food was amazing. Found our new spot! No this is not a solicited review, I was just super impressed with this place. “This place is honestly a hidden gem… I say this because it is in the corner of the Coconut Creek Promenade lodged between two loud bars (They have noise canceling walls and doors). But inside you will find a high-quality Sushi/hibachi Restaurant with very decent prices and great drinks. The service is really good (Unlike the surrounding restaurants… ) and everyone who works there is very friendly. I’m a local to the area and go here very often. And seriously the sushi is so so good. “If you are crazing Japanese Food Marumi Sushi is your place to go. The atmosphere is laid back and warm. You won’t find fancy dressed ppl but families and friends enjoying one another’s company over a great meal.

The kitchen is set in the open so you can hear the chef and team working.

The crispy Bok Choy was amazing- light, crispy, and juicy with just the right amount of seasoning.

The angle hair noodles with Vegetables was cooked perfectly.

This is a must go to for a quit relaxed dinner with friends or family.
