“I work long 12 hour shifts, usually getting off around 3-4pm and most places are usually packed for lunch rush. However, whenever I go in no matter how busy there’s always this same African American young lady fast service, sweet attitude and very understanding. The convenience on top of the amazing service makes this place a must go for me, especially when I’m ready to go home after a long day.“

“We recently visited F&D Cantina for Taco Tuesday and had such a great experience! Our server, Donovan, was absolutely amazing—so kind, attentive, and really made our visit special.
All of the tacos we tried were delicious, and you could tell everything was made fresh and full of flavor. The margarita and fajitas were both a huge win too!
The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even better.
Highly recommend starting with the chicken taquitos—they were incredible!

“Usually my favorite time to go is for breakfast and the food is always fantastic with speedy and friendly service. We had a small taco station set up at a park for our wedding and once again the food was great. All of my guests complimented about how great and authentic the food was. 5* for sure.“

“They made my tortillas fresh. And the spicy was super spicy. I loved that but the extras that you add on were either soggy or watered down except the jalapenos. The lettuce was soggy and sour cream and guacamole were soupy ... But those jalapeno were 💣“

“6-3-2026. I stopped for an early dinner and was able to see all that La Hacienda offers besides great food and friendly, attentive service.
I had a Guacamole Dip appetizer, and the steak Border Burrito (yes, there were leftovers!).
In addition to great atmosphere with uniquely decorated booths, there is also a room suitable for parties/larger groups, and seating for parties of 6-8.

“About two blocks away from De Leon Spring park we found this GEM, great prices with great customer service. We started by ordering a mangonada (tasty mild spicy mango smoothie) and mix fresh cut fruits, once we tried the mangonada we had to get another one for the way back to Gainesville. This is a stop you need to make if you are visiting the springs. Divino!“

“When you’re in DeLand, try to come to El Taco Rico Mexican Kitchen. I went with my dad and brother to this restaurant and wasn’t disappointed. I ordered the taco salad which was phenomenal. The only reason I gave this restaurant a 4 was because the place seemed a bit old.“

“The restaurant is usually run by teenagers. I never see an adult there keeping things in check. There needs to be one employee making sure the tables inside and outside are always cleaned! The bar area is filthy all the time! Lids in thr floor and sauces all iver the counter feom people pouring then cups. One last thing, none of those kids wear hair nets. That's a no no!!!! If you work with food you wear gloves and hair nets. Hairs can fall in the food. That would be the day I will eat them alive!“
