About Shimuja Ramen

Shimuja Ramen in Doral offers a variety of ramen and Japanese dishes, receiving mixed reviews from customers. Many visitors praise the restaurant for bringing authentic ramen to Miami, especially highlighting dishes like the Satsuma Tonkotsu and the key lime with pork belly, which are described as flavorful and tasty. The staff is often commended for their helpful explanations and good attention. The takoyaki, karrage chicken, and bao buns are also appreciated for their authentic taste, reminiscent of Japan. Some reviewers consider Shimuja the best ramen in south Florida, comparing it favorably to experiences in Los Angeles and other renowned places, noting the steaming hot bowls and quick service.

However, opinions vary regarding the overall value and quality. Some find the ramen satisfying but believe the prices are high for what is offered, mentioning that the broth can lack depth and the noodles are premade. A few customers were disappointed with the vegetarian ramen, describing it as boring with few ingredients and poorly prepared tofu. Others felt the dishes were average or generic, especially given the price point, and noted that the ramen portion sizes could be small. The location within a food hall also caught some by surprise, and parking fees were mentioned as an additional downside.

Overall, Shimuja Ramen is appreciated for delivering authentic Japanese flavors and dishes that remind customers of Japan, making it a worthwhile visit for ramen enthusiasts, despite some concerns about price and dish variety.

Doral location is closed only favor location is open. Only have a low ranking because I never tried the food.
Absolutely fantastic. Had the spicy tonkatsu and my wife the regular tonkatsu, it was great. The food hall is great with lots of options.
Whoever gave this place less than ALL the stars, has no idea what good food is.

I absolutely loved the Ramen 10/10, the dude who made it was taught very well! As someone who recently had lots of access to decent Asian cuisine in Southern California, I must say this place is amazing!

Living back in south Florida now and I will exclusively be ordering my Ramen from these guys! THANK YOU!
