A friend told me about this place so I visited with my mother and in comparison to all the nearby PRican establishments this one is one of the best in Polk county.The food was really good and I know because my mother is a top notch Puerto Rican cook and they are right up there with her cooking?The food was seasoned really well and cooked to perfection.It was mother and daughter approved. ??
Ever find a hole in the wall, secret place that you know you should share about but you want it to be your secret? This is it. Amazing quesitos, cakes, and flan. But their claim to fame are their sandwiches. I highly recommend tocineta with eggs, cheese, butter, lettuce, and tomato. Also their Cuban is fantastic!!! The place had a very good atmosphere, I felt like I was in Puerto Rico. We ordered 4 sandwiches and we were all happy. We ordered desserts and although they were fresh, they weren't good. That's why I didn't give the place 5 stars. They should change the pastry chef and everything would be perfect... Yes. I will return to the place yes and yes even if I don't eat dessert because I loved everything else
