“Visited Cueni with a friend recently as it's been one of my favorite breweries in Dunedin. We had a really great time, and since my friend was a first-timer, it was awesome that Susan was there to guide her in the right direction with her beer choices. She was really knowledgeable about all of the beers and super fun to talk with, giving us recommendations for food and fun spots for our weekend. Five stars for Susan and the quality beers at Cueni - I'll be back next time I'm in town!“

“Two enthusiastic thumbs up for Pete's Diner! They very kindly arranged to deliver a turkey dinner today to my brother (who lives in Dunedin and is recovering at home after surgery). Well, they delivered a delicious meal at 2:30pm and it was truly a HOMEMADE dinner. It was EXCEPTIONAL! From the turkey, to the gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie with whipped cream--it was a homemade feast. “I love this place.. the food is flavorful and nothing like other places when it comes to portion. You get a great amount for an awesome price. Their delivery is super fast. But during busy times if u can just go there to get food it's better than delivery. When it's super busy u can spend an hour trying to call them and you keep getting a message that the number is busy. That aspect is why I didn't give 5stars.. but in reality the food is definitely beyond 5stars“

“After hearing so many recommendations, we finally checked out Thai Town and it did not disappoint. It’s tucked into the small plaza off Main Street near Jet’s Pizza. The interior is dated but thoughtfully and beautifully decorated with hand-carved tables, elephant accents, carved wood details, and soft twinkle lights that give the space a warm, welcoming feel. The woman who served us was incredibly kind and attentive while also juggling about ten other guests on her own. We ordered red curry and pineapple fried rice with chicken to go and spent our wait relaxing in large carved wooden chairs, just taking in the atmosphere. When she learned it was our first visit, she brought us each a freshly made crab rangoon to try while we waited. She said if we liked curry, we would probably love them. She was absolutely right. They were the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve ordered them on every visit since. We’ve also tried the pineapple curry with chicken, which has a really pleasant, mild heat and great flavor. It’s our favorite dish so far.“

“The place, the atmosphere, and the staff were all great. Free parking is definitely a bonus too. I ordered the grouper sandwich with fries. Everything was really good, even the fries, which are usually pretty mediocre in most places. The only real letdown was the bun. It’s that regular cheap plastic-style bun, and it just ruins an otherwise great sandwich. I’m not saying they need to bake fancy buns in-house, but there are plenty of better options out there that would make a big difference. Taking off one star for that.“

“I was here with a friend about a month ago and then again tonight with two of my friends and everything has been wonderful. Service food all top notch. if you try the French dip you will never try another French dip anywhere ever again. The filet with French onion pasta is just crazy good. if you are local and you have not eaten here you are missing out.“

“The first time I came in here, the place was full of convicts (a joke: they were folks in costume.) But it’s becoming my favorite place for beer, and that’s saying a lot because Dunedin has many great places for great beer. The main thing that stands out for me is how comfortable it is - on my last visit, I came in with a couple of other people and we had all been fishing all day. We were soggy, sweaty, salty and thirsty. I mentioned to my companions that we should probably get cleaned up first, and they nixed it. “This is Dunedin,” I was told.

The beers have wildly inventive names, some unusual varieties, some well-done standards and a great bartender - Luke! He helped us get some tasty dinner and we ate at the bar!“

You play or listen to Trivia waiting in such comfortable sofas, look at such lovely lights, etc. Then the order comes & THAT'S chicken. It's called wings, but are big pieces of just the best tasting stuff ever. Connor said the sauce was great, & he sure was right.\nSo this lovely venue is great for Trivia every 1st & 3rd Thurs, do try them out!“

“The service was terrible. We have been here many times and always enjoyed it. The server this time, made an error and instead of owning it argued with me that a BLT was a grilled cheese. She went as far as opening the sandwich to say that she saw some cheese. The manager did a great job in service recovery and the food was good, but her attitude dampened the meal.“

“This one has horrible lighting, tables were dirty so I cleaned mine myself, my server did Start cleaning tables after each patron left after seeing me do this but that's a problem in the restaurant business tables are always left dirty and not cleaned on a regular. She was on it though, and she was very good at her job wish I got her name, talll with glasses. Anyway. My tacos were soggy, but ok. Games for the kids in the back, pricey but whatever makes your kids happy right ? There were 3 bars, 2 inside, one out, thought that was pretty awesome.“

Now that the original and best Chef Roger is back after an absence for a few years, it is even more fantastic and every single dish is full of quality and flavor! “Had a large party- service excellent and server very efficient and pleasant.

Fun atmosphere, upbeat.

Food- well $25 for sliced corned beef ( very fatty) and a very small portion of bone-in chicken with decent baked beans, (which were very good) and a small side of garlic mashed potatoes ( not creamy nor hot)

Suggestions? Leaner corned beef, larger chicken portion as well as mashed potatoes ( low cost item to put out, cost pennies to serve larger portion)
$25 price point is high unless above improvements are made.

My friends beef brisket looked like a nice portion and enjoyed.
Will be back and hope management takes review as constructive criticism in a very hard and competitive business-

“my sister and I had our first visit, 10/21/22. I ordered the szechuan (?) chicken with hot and sour soup, white rice and egg roll. best soup, the egg roll was crisp, hot and delicious, entree was ample and yummy. . My sis had the moo goo gaipan (?) egg roll and fried rice, which she enjoyed immensely. or waitress was attentive, kept our water glasses filled, and made us feel welcome. it's a bit of a drive but we will definitely return!!“
