“Yesterday I tried Roberts for the first time and I am beyond pleased! When I say this is the most tender, moist and flavorful barbecue I have ever had I meant it. My husband and I both got the brisket dinner with Mac and cheese and greens! We also got some burnt ends with yellow rice. Everything was seasoned to perfection and so flavorful! I will definitely be going back anytime I want the best BBQ in town!!“

“i CANNOT express enough how my experience was last night. it was absolutely fantastic. My family and i came here for dinner on 5/19/2026 and our server was Christopher, and he was by far one of the best servers i have experienced in the industry. I didn't need to ask him for anything as he could see from across the restaurant when our drinks were low and would bring new ones over before they were gone. he kept fresh bread on our table the entire time, and boxed our food for us when we were ready to leave. Besides the serving experience, the food was Fantastic as always and fresh. i am looking forward to my next visit here and i hope i get Christopher again!“

I had the steak and chicken hibachi I forgot to take a photo before starting to mash it up, was very tatted and cooked how I like it. Soup was good and you do also get a salad. Its modern inside , nice clean. They also have some of the best crab ragoons ! So good.. food was served fast and hott..I Would recommend this place.“

“We got to Frenchy's about 3:30 Friday after spending the day at Dunedin Street Market and Honeymoon Island. We worked up an appetite. Miranda was our waitress. She recommended lots of fan favorites and personal suggestions. Having read reviews, we had definite ideas of what to order. Husband ordered the super grouper sandwich, daughter ordered chicken sandwich. Both were very large pieces of meat, and they both loved their choices. I got the ceviche nachos and we all shared the crab fries, which is a favorite. We all enjoyed our meals, along with our delicious drinks. The girls got passion fruit refreshers and I got a kiwi coconut margarita, YUM!! There was so much on the menu that looked good, we'll be back to try more!“

“My husband and I moved to Tarpon about six months ago. We’ve been waiting to try this place. The food and the atmosphere was wonderful. The staff was very kind and accommodating as well. We got the goat cheese fondue, which was to die for and my husband loved the calzone. I really enjoyed my chicken dish with homemade pesto. Everything was really delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.“

“I love this longhorn!! I’ve been here many times before, it’s the best longhorn I’ve ever had. Today was Mother’s Day so we ordered take out to avoid the crowd, we waited 30 minutes after our supposed pickup time because it’s a super busy night, we didn’t mind as the to-go girl was super nice and apologetic. We got home and were missing a plate so we called and the manager quickly jumped into action, she told us she’ll make a fresh one, offered a free dessert, and when we came to pick it up, they gave us a free appetizer card. What you’d think would be considered a bad experience at a restaurant, I consider a great one. They handled everything beautifully. I was never mad, never got hostile with them and yet they did everything they could to make up for everything. I’m a very satisfied customer. Thank you Longhorn in Palm harbor. “Local Tampa Bay Folks: Tarpon Tavern review: While this is a Tavern with your classic bar, TVs playing with the sports games, and a lively crowd, the food is beyond what you would expect. In fact, as other patrons' plates came out, I was really excited to receive our meal. It was busy and a little bit of a wait to get the food, but it was worth it. As a self-proclaimed pickle enthusiast, we decided to order the fried pickles. I had heard that they were different than most fried pickles, and surely they were for the better! The one thing I hate with most fried pickles is that there is more batter than pickle. The batter was very light, and you could even see the entire pickle through the coating; however, it was still crispy and golden. These guys achieved the perfect balance of crunchy exterior with a juicy, briny interior. From first glance, this is not your ordinary bowl. The bowl is visually appealing: vibrant veggies, grilled chicken, rice, olives, feta, and onions. A creamy tzatziki sauce and naan bread points bring a simple dish together to make a truly great meal. As a vegetarian, finding well-curated food is always hard. In a way, it's annoying. And like many places, they had the classic Beyond Burger. (boring). So, I spiced it up. I ordered their Smash Burger and had them substitute the Beyond Burger patty with their Tavern Twister fries. The burger came with grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato and the ever-famous smash sauce. I had them add grilled mushrooms. From the first bite, the Beyond Burger defied all expectations. The patty had a remarkably meaty texture, was juicy, and was cooked perfectly. The flavor profile really brings the burger to the next level. The flavors and taste with the different toppings surely made the burger the best, especially with the restaurant's signature smash sauce, a harmonious blend of tangy and creamy, which ties the entire creation together. Whether you're a committed vegan, a curious flexitarian, or a die-hard carnivore looking to explore the plant-based realm, the smash burger with a beyond patty is a must-try. “I came in today for a late lunch. I walked in about 20 minutes before they closed for their lunch hours and they happily took me. I ordered the lunch special of 2 rolls and it came with a soup, salad, cucumbers and a spring roll. Everything was very good and it was a lot of food! The service was very good and they got my food out quick which was perfect for my timeline as well. Next time Im in the area for dinner I would love to try some of their special rolls.
