“We came to support Kblack for FiYAH Sundayz, a great show, and we ate the special Fish and Grits. The fish was crispy and had a hot sauce glaze that was hot enough to make your lips burn but sweet enough I would have eaten another couple of orders my self. This perfect piece of protein was played with care over a smooth and creamy order of Grits. The grits were adorned with caramelized pepper and onion, with an orange sauce that I would probably drink it was so tasty.Located in the heart of Historic Eatonville under the water tower. This is one of Orlando's best vegan restaurants that specializes in a Jamaican/Caribbean fare. Stop by and support or come check out FiYAH Sundayz at 6pm.Vegetarian options: Best in town!“

“Our first time at KAYA will definitely not be our last. We joined the brunch waitlist when it became available online and were seated almost immediately when we arrived at the restaurant. The hostess was very personable and set us up under the shade when we requested it. Our server, Chastity, was very friendly and eager to help us with the menu and continued to be attentive (as well as the other staff) throughout our dining experience.Absolutely everything we ordered was fresh and unique for the Orlando dining scene. It was also presented beautifully. Honey soda - refreshing; pandesal rolls - addicting (seriously, what’s in that butter?); ube salukara rice pancakes - gimme a stack of 10. While the chicken tocilog was great, the bluefish dasilog was top notch and I definitely recommend you order it.So happy we finally checked out this little Filipino oasis. “Amazing ice cream! I had a scoop of ube latte ice cream and a scoop of champorado ice cream. My husband had a scoop of ube latte and a scoop of Sampaguito ice cream. I can’t wait to go back to try more flavors. My only regret was we should’ve gotten the ice cream flight which was 6 different scoops of ice cream on a platter.Parking: Parking is located behind the building but luckily so is an entrance to the business. It was very busy but we managed to find parking.“

“This has been saved on my want to go list and we finally went. They have an extensive menu ranging from meats and cheeses to ahi tuna to brisket, and on. We ended up getting the grilled octopus and ahi tuna and the almond cake for dessert. It’s gluten free which was a pleasant surprise.Our waitress was very nice and attentive.It may sound silly, but I actually appreciated the presentation of limes they gave us for our waters. The food was good and there is quite a variety to choose from. I would’ve expected just a tad more flavor, but still very tasty. I would definitely recommend this spot and look forward to trying it again.“

“Absolutely love this ice cream joint, they’ve got the best tasting dessert and great employees! Although I’ve been here several times, I decided to write a review about my most recent visit. Tonight, my party accidentally went to the wrong ice cream shop across town, so I ended up getting my ice cream by myself. The employee (I believe her name is Thalia from the receipt) was so kind and after hearing about my situation, made my ice cream “extra special” with some Mickey shaped Oreo ears. It genuinely put me in a better mood, I loved her positivity and creativity!“

“We go out to eat to with the hope that the meal provides a "how did they pull off something so delicious" moment and The Ravenous Pig delivered that every bite across every dish from the starters to the entrees to the dessert. The atmosphere is relaxed, industrial, and clean without being overly formal. We felt at home in shorts and a baseball hat, despite the dishes being served coming out with attention to detail in their presentation. Every element of each dish felt well considered and intentional with the technical details well executed. Everything was bursting with flavor. Our server made great suggestions and was willing to help guide us.An important note is that they use fresh local ingredients and as such their menu changes daily and the center portion of the menu (special items) will sell out and did for our 8:45pm reservation for 2 people on a Tuesday.We got the bison carpacchio, truffle risotto, and lamb tongue for starters. For entrees, the steak frites w/ fries and the crab pasta. And for dessert, the carrot cake and pig tails. Finally, the drinks were the bacon bourbon old fashioned with the meal and a Hungarian dessert wine with dessert. I could elaborate in detail why each of these dishes was excellent, but trust me that this deserves the Bib Gourmand Michelin Guide designation that it has. This food feels like you are getting what you pay for (if not punching up). I'd highly recommend any of those dishes, but given the spread of dishes I'd be confident saying that the whole menu is likely to deliver a wonderful experience. Highly recommend a stop here.This place has 4.5 stars at the time of writing this review, but it certainly deserves to be higher (hence this review). Enjoy!“

“Amazing is the only one word that comes to our minds. The restaurant itself is very modern looking but has that touch of Thai to make us feel at home. And the star of the show besides the great cooks was Pen! She was so awesome and sensor from her greeting at the door to her interactions with my two daughters. Who just thought she was so nice and Awesome. The appearance of the food was amazing when it arrived at our table and the taste was even more amazing. “Comfort food at its finest, the food is really good & made with care as well as quality ingredients; however, service with to go orders can be hit or miss. I’ve called before with no answer, which is cool bc I just stop by (I live across the street) these days many places don’t utilize the phone anymore, it’s an expense + people are busy, but I’ve walked in after the phone not being answered a couple times to place a to go order & see a few staff members & a mostly empty dining room…still no greeting or help with ordering until someone comes out of the back. In general, I’ve found the best experience to be dine in.“

“Great food. My son loves either the pancakes(with chocolate chips of course!) and the tenders. The tenders are fresh and a decent size(much better than any other restaurant we have been to). My husband and I love getting the club or Philly! The apple cinnamon pancakes are seasonal but an absolute treat, when it’s not in season I stick with the cinnamon pancakes. Our meal never just ends at metro, we always take home a slice of chocolate cake to share. If you’re a chocolate lover it’s absolutely amazing!“

“A top notch steakhouse in downtown Orlando. We started with escargot, which I will typically try anywhere it is being served. The escargot here was very good, served in an actual escargot dish with butter in each socket. The snails served in the butter really allows them to soak it up. I went with the tried and true 8oz fillet, which was the perfect serving for me. The sides are big enough to share between 2 people. We got the grilled asparagus and au gratin potatoes, both were excellent and prepared perfectly. For desert we went with the dark chocolate molten turtle cake and bread pudding. The chocolate cake came with this vanilla ice cream rolled in pralines which was a great complement to the cake. The bread pudding was a sweet take on the delicious bread they serve, it is very filling.The atmosphere is very relaxed and there is a nice vibe in the room. There are very high ceilings, and you can see the old architecture, which really adds to the atmosphere. This has to be my favorite feature, and one of the coolest things I have seen in a restaurant.The servers provide top notch service. They know their stuff and know how to provide excellent service that a restaurant like this deserves.“

“Do your Taco Tuesday here! They have the BEST Crispy Fish taco in Orlando (hands down). It’s got a fantastic flavor and the pickled cabbage, cilantro and avocado just all work together! I always start with the guac and chips. My other favorite is the Carne Asada taco (it’s a very close second to the fish taco). For sides, I absolutely LOVE the Cilantro Pablano Rice, Vegetarian Black Beans and the Sweet Plantains.Be careful, you will end up eating everything you order!“

I always look for a good Ramen place around Orlando, it isn't so easy, but Jinya is good enough. It isn't cheap but as a chain, it tastes local, similar to some I ate in Japan. GREAT * Crispy Chicken, very crisp on outside and juicy inside, just a bit salty for me but fresh made, love it. Not even need to dip in the sauce. Like it. * Takoyaki, can be better but not bad. Love the octopus, soft. Have to finish before it gets cold. GOOD * Tokyo Curry Rice, Soso. Curry sauce from a package, rice was too dry and hard. DISAPPOINTED * Beef Sukiyaki Bowl, I didn't have it, my sister said it's good. * Sprouting Up Ramen, have to try this as their Home Ramen and I had great satifaction. Love them put the crispy Brussels sprouts inside. OK first the soup was at the oily side, but this's the taste of traditional Ramen soup base, so it should be like this, taste was well balanced and in right texture. Love the noodle, not too soft. Pork chashu melted in your mouth. Only criticism was the egg could be softer, yolk running. It may not be the best Ramen I had, but base on a fact of chain restaurant and in Orlando, it's good enough to go again to get the home Japanese taste. BTW, our server was friendly and helpful, love them saying Welcome in Japanese when you walk in the place, keep the tradition from Japan. Overall, if you want Ramen, it's a good place to go in Orlando.“

“There were so many interesting flavors from which to choose! I sampled the gochuchang caramel (tasted more like caramel than gochujang) but ended up settling on blueberry lavender and ube pandan on a black ash chia waffle cone ($7.93 total). The scoops were small delicious. The lavender definitely overpowered the blueberry, but I loved how fragrant it was. Likewise with the ube pandan, ube was the dominant flavor, but I love ube, so I’m not mad. The cone was tasty as well and had a nice chewiness. I also loved the greenery decorations inside.“

We had a private dining area in the back behind the kitchen, which was great for a group of 16 appetizers and meals were really great, service was nice and the cocktails were well executed. “One word describes our evening at Nonno's, magnificent. My friend and I were looking for an Orlando gem and we found the perfect place. The food was deliciously made with love and care. Every bite was so flavorful. We both sat there savoring our food. We began with the bread and pesto. The pesto was so good we even dipped our calamari in it. Our entrees were Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and Lasagna. The flavors were soooo good. You could tell that fresh ingredients were used in the dishes.
