“Amazing food from amazing people! I had the chicken tacos and they were flavorful and filling, with a generous helping of tender shredded chicken. My husband had the brisket, which came with mac & cheese, baked beans, and soft rolls. My husband said it melted in his mouth! The Village Patio is a cute little building with a laid-back atmosphere. We enjoyed eating our meal on the deck. Patrick and Shelley are warm and friendly, with decades of experience in the local restaurant and bar scene. Go check them out!“

“On 08-03-2025 I ate at the Sonny's restaurant at 631 67th St Cir E in Bradenton, FL. This is a family-style BBQ restaurant with a very comfortable and welcoming ambiance. I arrived for dinner and was promptly seated. I had their Big Deal Turkey on a bun with fries, a side order of baked beans, and an unsweet tea. My food arrived in a timely manner and was cooked properly. It came exactly as I ordered it and was very tasty. A variety of sauces were available, and I selected the Sweet sauce. My server during my visit was Danielle. She was very efficient, kept my tea glass filled, and responded to any and all requests I had. I have had Danielle for a server several times before, and I consistently receive superior service from her. She is always friendly and courteous and takes a genuine interest in her customers, making sure that they have a positive dining experience. She is a credit and an asset to the business. I recommend this restaurant and will be returning there again to eat.“

“Place came recommended by a local contractor. Tried their pulled pork and collards first visit. Very Good. I then went back and had their fried chicken, mac and cheese, and more collards. Definitely a keeper.“

“Stopped here on a whim yesterday with our 10 year old grandson. The smell of BBQ was amazing as you walked in the front door. We were greeted immediately by staff and found a table easily. Our server was friendly and attentive. The menu is large, and while it is often difficult for me to find things to eat, because I am vegan and gluten free...there was a beautiful salad available. My husband and grandson had the ribs, baked beans, Cole slaw and fries. They were very happy. The food, service and atmosphere were great. We will definitely be back again.“

“Highly Recommended!! MD Crab Cakes Were GREAT, No Fillers Just Meat Which Being From MD They Were Just Right!! Wings Were Also Very Good, We Had Blackened And They Were Well Seasoned!! Now For Platters We Had Smoked Turkey (My Favorite) With Pulled Chicken, My Husband Had Carolina BBQ With Ribs Which He Too Said Were Very Good! Sides Were Tasty And Perfect Sized Portions! Very Friendly Staff And Quick Service!“
