Joe's 2nd Street Bistro was a beloved local restaurant that sadly closed in January 2024. The service was always excellent, and the food was delicious, with a wide range of offerings from big burgers to local shrimp entrees. The outdoor courtyard was a treat in the summer, with a shaded area and a tinkling fountain. The house wines were nice and fairly priced, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The reviews praised the restaurant's fabulous bistro atmosphere, excellent service, and memorable dishes like the spinach, orange and macadamia salad, the macadamia encrusted duck breast, the linguine with scallops and shrimp, and the delectable key lime pie.
