Really lovely food and our server was excellent. I have marked the experience to a 4 star as the Maitre'd was quite rude on our arrival. The Resturant was very busy and we suggested we could sit outside to help. Getting a tirade of abuse as to how she knows best. She could have had an unusual sense of humour that we didn't get.
Outstanding meal and even better service. There was a last minute event inside, so we were asked if we wanted to be seated outside for a quieter experience. It was beautiful, our entire party loved every dish, the atmosphere and our excellent service.
We come to this restaurant every time we visit Amelia Island. It is definitely our favorite place to dine while we are here. The food is amazing; however the hospitality and service is outstanding. A very large part of our attraction to this particular restaurant is directly related to Heather! She is so welcoming, and makes us feel like family. She always remembers our little dog' s name, which is in itself amazing since we only come here three or four times a year. We are not however unique as she treats everyone else the same way. If you visit Amelia Island, you should definitely check this place out.
The staff was accommodating beyond belief. We were seated by a very loud large table .., did I say LOUD? But the waiter noticed it was an issue and the hostess came by and moved us. Food, staff Amazing as always
Everything was wonderful as usual. Our waiter, Tammy, was fabulous! I'm gluten intolerant and she guided me as I needed to order. Love this restaurant and plan to eat here often!
We eat here whenever we are at the beach. This is the place to get fresh fish cooked perfectly every time. Halibut with a crab covering was outstanding.
Always great food and service, just so loud. Can't even talk to those at your table. Best place is outside.
Outstanding nightly specials. Seafood selections cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff
Food was excellent as was our server, Patrick. The restaurant was full and therefore quite loud making conversation tricky. The din of chatter was like when a swarm of Cicadas get going.
I wish I could say something nice.... Our server seemed kind - and stressed out. That's where the positive ends. My idea of a wine bar doesn't include multiple televisions (playing women's college volleyball no less), low ceilings, flickering can lights, and noise levels so high that one cannot hear the person next to you speak. We order two bottles of wine for our table of five. Our server places them (already opened?), on the table and then states that they don't have any wine glasses so we will need to wait. Excuse me? This is a wine bar and you don't have glasses and open the bottles at the table? So we wait. She pours wine. We serve ourselves for the rest of our meal. Side note the cocktail menu has no prices. We ask about the specials. She tells us, we place our orders. Time passes. Our server then returns to say they are out of not just the specials, but out of ALL fish (salmon, tuna, redfish), but they still have fried shrimp and mussels. So our whole party now has to change orders to something we don't even wish to have. Two of us have mussels. No small fork, no bowl to discard shells, and barely an inch of broth that tastes like watered down bullion cubes with sugary balsamic. Mussels are the size of raisins in broken shells. Our server only returns to clear plates and gives us the check. Save yourself and pick another place.

As good as BarZin always is! I have said it all in the prior sentence. I need no more characters to explain.
Another great meal at Bar Zin. I had the redfish special topped with lobster etouffee. It was wonderful with just the right amount of spice. My husband had the meatloaf and said it was outstanding. Finished with beignets, which are a must if not too full. Highly recommend this great restaurant!
Food was good. Had a stuffed shrimp special and bang bang shrimp but the noise level was off the charts and did not make for an enjoyable experience. I had to yell at my partner to get them to hear. So despite the tasty food I would not return.
We sat outside....was really noisy inside. Food was delicious and presentation outstandin!
Best on island !!! Or Jacksonville for that matter! Try it and if you don't like I'll buy your dinner
