Very good barbeque! Very friendly. The baked beans are incredible! I had ribs and my wife had brisket. Both were very good! We will definitely come back!!!
I need to brag on this small town family business.From the moment I called my order in I was treated with great service.I got the rib platter with Mac and baked beans.the ribs are fall off the bone and so full of flavor.The Mac and cheese has this Smokey savory flavor that blew my mind right away.And the baked beans are also super full of flavor.Dont ever close down or Ima need the address to come get me a plate 😮💨🤏🏽
one of the best bbq we have had in citrus. the Amish ice cream is to die for. if you haven't gone run!

The Family Pit BBQ & Ice Cream is a family-owned and operated restaurant serving real, homemade BBQ. This food truck and catering spot offers outstanding food, including a loaded baked potato with ribeye, a half rack of tender ribs, smoked brisket, pulled chicken with coleslaw, and smoked turkey. The smoked mac and cheese and smoked turkey are absolutely delicious. The burnt ends with a glaze melt in your mouth, and the brisket is moist, tender, and lip smacking good. The ribs are tender, juicy, and falling off the bone. Marty’s smoked cream cheese is fantastic. The mac and cheese and potato salad are also very good. The place isn’t fancy, but the food is 5 star. The people are friendly, great to communicate with, and some of the nicest folks around. Family meals are available and very reasonable. This is absolutely the best BBQ in 50 miles, and a spot to come back to for great food.
