We tried council oak for dinner one night and was very pleased. The atmosphere is great and the service is so friendly and attentive. It was quite busy when we went but the food came out hot and quick. We ordered iceberg salads, calamari, baked potato, garlic herb fries, creamed spinach, Brussels sprouts, filet mignon, and salmon. Everything was excellent and the prices were just right. The bacon chunks in the wedge were to die for. The steak was cooked just right at medium rare. We didn’t get dessert because there wasn’t a big option. Other than that excellent steakhouse.

To start the steak was nothing to brag about. Sent the steak back to recook first off sending a steak back for medium when paying $60 for a 8oz like come on. Anyways wasn’t big deal the potatoes not a fan. The best thing probably the salad but differently not worth the money. I’ll pass next time. AlsoMusic was so loud kinda ruined the date.

Not sure what happened to Council Oak’s customer experience but the initial server to the plate service was RUSHED. John was rushing my family to make a decision when we already placed wine, drinks and starters. At the end, I asked for the dessert menu to see if anyone would like to add, as I ordered coffee. When everyone ordered their drinks but no room for dessert, he was very abrupt, as if asking for one electronic menu was an absurd ask. My husband had half his steak and 2 full sides to pack, and the server just grabbed the food as if to throw. So disappointed. Maybe the focus is “efficiency” over experience, overall there was no connection, no care for the customers, just that final bill. John also left the table to someone else. IF ONLY Eugene was our primary we would’ve had a better experience. Food was still good but overshadowed by the lack of care.

I would tell you probably the most horrible restaurant for steak that I’ve ever been to in my life. They have no idea of how to run they may be a casino, but they don’t get food. Good luck if anybody eats here and let me tell you we’ll never be back to eat in one of their effing restaurants they’re horrible.

Still likely one of my favorite steak and seafood restaurants when in the Miami areas. Service is always top notch with a staff of professionals. 8 Oz lobster tails always cooked to perfection. This evening I had the 18 oz prime rib which was cooked to a perfect medium rare yet nicely charred on the outside. I honestly don't know how they turn out so many perfectly cooked entrees and sides when the place always full. Ideal location and atmosphere for a special evening out. You may want the dining room rather than the bar dining area as there's live music and conversations can be difficult but that's a personal choice.

We had the absolute worst experience at Council Oak on Saturday. I had a party of 8 for my wife's birthday and it was horrible. Half of the steaks were undercooked then sent back and burnt. We brought our own birthday cake for the occasion that was specially designed and cost $400. The staff dropped the cake and did not tell us about it until the end. The manager said the kitchen was overwhelmed which is why the food was horrible and they ruined our cake. The entire meal should have been comped and the manager did not even take responsibility. I will be sure to let the community know how the management handles their patrons and hope word gets around. Completely ruined our evening after spending $1500 at your establishment.

1st, a Steak restaurant of this caliber should never have a steak sent back for being cooked wrong. 2 of the 4 steaks at our table went back. 2nd. The quality and taste were sub par in 5 out of 8 dishes. The seafood tower was excellent. 3rd This was a birthday party and I had brought a cake. When it was time for the cake we were informed that it was dropped in the kitchen. They did give us several desserts. 4th, the manager came over to apologize and her apologize was so bad it actually made the situation worse. On the way out we spoke to another manager which we believe was above her and he didnt really seem to care. They did remove both steaks from the bill. I guess we expected a little better customer service or at least a genuine apology. You lost 8 customers not to mention all those we share our story with.

Amazing restaurant at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. All the food and service was amazing!
Although I had a very disappointing birthday meal at Council Oak, I must say the customer relations side is very competent. Maybe my waiter was just not trained properly or he was having an "off" night, but my thanks to Council Oak for making this right. I don't know that I'll be back to dine, but your professionalism certainly changed my overall perception of your establishment.

This place is a scam that is backed up by the hard Rock... I stayed at the hotel and didn't even eat here and got charged that I ate there. I disputed the charge, but they declined it and said I showed them my ID. Conveniently they don't have cameras and could not tell me how many people were in my party that I supposedly had. I ate at this location about 3 years ago and the food was all overcooked, so why would i eat there again. This scam incident happened on February 24th weekend they said. Beware if you stay at the hard Rock Hotel... They like to charge you for restaurants that you don't go to.

We go to Council Oak once a month, the ambiance is on the high end side, food is delicious...if you're at the Hard Rock, it's a must try at least once!
