“I’ve got to be honest—I walked into this IHOP fully expecting to hate it. My last memory of the place was grimy floors, a moldy smell, and a generally run-down vibe that made me avoid it for years. But something’s changed—big time.

The moment I stepped in, I was hit with that warm, nostalgic smell of pancakes instead of mildew. The place looked completely redone. The floors were spotless, the booths looked brand new, and everything felt fresh and welcoming. Even the lighting was brighter and softer—none of that harsh fluorescent glare I remembered. The atmosphere actually made me want to sit and stay awhile.

And then came the service. My server (Queen) was on point—friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy her job. The food? Hot, delicious, and exactly what I hoped for.

I walked in ready to be disappointed. But I just can’t find a single thing to complain about. So here it is: five stars. I’m glad I gave it another shot.

“Didn’t have my card with me and the waiter was nice enough to allow me to pay his PayPal and he paid the bill for me! Dude was thinking outside the box! In England we don’t use cards, everything is Apple Pay and the country who has made the iPhone didn’t have Apple Pay in ihop ha ha“
