KUBO Asian fusion and bar -Ft. lauderdale

Very mediocre $15 roll, ok chicken dumplings, decent small soup w 3 shrimp. Felt like I’d made the wrong restaurant choice. Most Asian food in Fort Lauderdale is disappointing I’d say this was exactly that. Paid close to 40. Was given 2 minutes to order from lunch menu as it was 2:58. So I didn’t (walked in at 2:45) Website says “street food” (why I went) Server said there is no street food and looked a little confused. Whatever. My first restaurant review after 20 winters in Florida.

Came here with 2 friends on a whim. I love Asian fusion, and I was pleasantly surprised by this place! The food came out fast, but tasted fresh. We got the crispy tuna that was amazing (if you haven’t gotten this before somewhere, it’s a must). I can’t tell you the name of your pork belly dish I got, it was in the entree section on the top right, spicy and delicious. My gf got the poke bowl with Tuna that was delightful. The only thing that wasn’t good was the shrimp shumai. Would happily come back here

I’ve been coming here ever since Kubo was smaller and less known and it’s my go to place whenever I go out for Asian food!!! The quality of food, service, and ambiance have just gotten better and better. I absolutely recommend 100/10

Great Asian menue that spans the continent. Very high-quality food. Reasonable size portions.

The Sushi was amazing and the chicken teriyaki fried rice was exceptional.

If you go on uber eats, there's so many BOGO deals. Yet, I will always pick Kubo. It's my 6th? time ordering here, and I have been here one time in person. All times have been amazing, I've tried Ube Taro Mousse, Jasmine Fruit Green Tea ( a favorite!), Kuba Lava and a few flavors of their croffles! (The cream they put on top is so light and fluffy and tasty!!) I recommend it all, my favorite dish is their wings. The ramen noodles are super good, and I love the broth. I have tried their sushi a few times, although none of the special rolls, the classics are nothing to complain about also. I always order them! I don't think you will be disappointed if you tried :)
