KUBO Asian fusion and bar -Ft. lauderdale

We came here about three years ago and still rememred this place! Came back and the food was still great, service wonderful, and food delish!

Our table ordered wings as an app, bulgogi, and ramen dishes x 2. The bulgogi was definitely the star of the meal. Kimchi included was great (we asked for more of it and lettuce) and not too sweet which is more common and undesirable if you've eaten it in more authentic places. One of my dining companions even took over some bites of the (my) dish. The ramen of the others was pretty good.

We ordered the wings with the sauce on the side. They were prepared wonderfully!

We came back another night for more bulgogi, ramen, and curry. Curry was a bit heavy with lots of flavor. I did not prefer the salmon skin but the fish was prepared perfectly!

Our first server was great the first night but meh the second. Kind of forgot about us (we ended up retrieving napkins by ourselves) but this would not dissuade us from returning.

We are looking forward to coming back to this place! Flavors are best.

I forgot to add that both times we came, there was a bday celebration. Be prepared for the most pinoy sounding version ever. It is an experience!

I'm usually a bit skeptical of Anime themed restaurants, but Kubo is great! The restaurant is cute and modern. The bar looks beautiful and the seating is comfortable. The menu is large with many choices. I got an Eel poke bowl. The rice to vegetables ratio isnt perfect, but the food was fresh and delicious. I also had a fruit tea and to my pleasant surprise, it was delicious. Sometimes boba drinks are too sweet, but this was perfect. I would recommend this restaurant to any anime lover. My only criticism was that it took a long time to be seated even though it was 2 pm. I don't think the hostess noticed us until we started talking a bit louder. Great atmosphere, pretty good service and Great food! Can't wait to come back!

This place is so good so much variety

This place is contemporary and fun! Great anime inspired decor. They even have a disco ball hanging from the ceiling!!
Huge selection of Asian dishes, from lumpia’s to bao buns, dumplings, ramen, and more. You are sure to find something for you to try.
Service fast friendly and our server recommended some dishes that were all prepared with fresh ingredients. Food was brought out in a timely manner as well.

I have never had anything from here that wasn’t amazing! But a seriously underrated menu item is their orange chicken lettuce wraps in the small plates section. Reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! I love Kubo!!

KUBO is an anime lover's dream!! The food we had was excellent! We visited on a Tuesday afternoon, and I ordered the Basic Duo Roll Lunch Special (your choice of two basic rolls for $10) and picked the Spicy Tuna Roll and Spicy Kani Roll. I also added the Japanese Lover Roll. My boyfriend had the Kao Soi Ramen with beef bulgogi as his protein.

Both of our servers were fast and attentive, and I even enjoyed the music. They played hit after hit!

The place looks very nice inside! A nice surprise! The staff are attentive and pleasant. The food was great! We had pancit, beef gulgogi baos. Lychee butterfly drink was cool!
