We made a reservation for party of 18 as our last dinner before heading home. We were here for a week on vacation. The reviews scared me a little but we actually had a great experience. We were seated quickly. The restaurant was almost empty maybe because it way only 5pm on a Friday. We received quick service and Crystal was very entertaining especially to the kids. The food was good and we each did the share option which saved us from paying too much and having to go plates...read full review
It wasn’t too crowded and we were immediately seated for dinner. We ordered multiple appetizers, sashimi, and sushi and we loved everything. The only issue was our service. Every time we wanted to order something or had been sitting for a while needing something we had to get up and physically find our waiter.
It was ok

Red Door Asian Bistro & Hibachi is a popular Asian fusion restaurant located in a prime spot on Las Olas. The food is consistently delicious, with a mix of happy hour items and main courses that are worth the price. The atmosphere is good, and the Hibachi grill experience is entertaining and expertly prepared by the talented staff. The chef, Sean, makes family dinners a treat, and customers appreciate the great atmosphere and better-than-any-Hibachi-food. The restaurant offers a pleasant and restful drinking experience, with drinks like margaritas and bubble teas served in mason jars. The bubble teas are sweet, with bubbles that last long past the drink. Visitors often enjoy watching passing dogs and people in the downtown area from the outdoor front deck. Service is friendly, with a pleasant waitress, though it’s advised to take your Amex card due to the expansive menu. The fish and sushi rolls are fresh and delicious, though some find the sushi slightly overpriced at $25-29. The ambiance, especially on a Tuesday night with dim lighting and 2000s R&B music, makes it a good spot for dates. The restaurant provides a fun and relaxing place to enjoy Asian cuisine, especially for visitors or passersby. However, there can be slow service, and an extra charge of 3% applies if using a credit card. Overall, Red Door offers a lively and enjoyable dining experience with a mix of tasty food and a charming setting.
