We Had a wonderful time visiting this restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food was so delicious and comforting. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Ft Lauderdale, without question. We would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely come back when we’re in town :)
My wife and myself tried reggae roots. There's a Groupon for $30 of food for $15... Try the oxtails they are very tasty but they are $30 for a large so you can try $30 worth of oxtails for 15 bucks... Enjoy!
Walking in, this place is spotless, very clean, very professional. We ordered the chicken, pork, and oxtail to go. The chicken was good quality meat and very juicy while the flavors were exactly what you would expect from a highly rated jerk place. We walked in just before closing so they only had a quarter pound of pork left so they sold us that and compensated us with some extra chicken, veggies, and a bottle of their own pineapple jerk sauce (quelle suprise!).
