I went to SOB (Smoking Oyster Bar) Main street by the beach, I just think the manager here needs to go there and get a cup of clam chowder, and compare it to their milk and potatoes that they call clam chowder, as at SOB its amazing.
I forgot to add you can get a can of clam chowder at Walmart for a couple bucks, way better than Fort Myers Beach Chowder.
