They did not have any seafood on display that we saw. We bought shrimp, grouper and redfish. It was all fantastic. Fried a small bit of fish and did the rest of the fish and all the shrimp on the grill.Great service, fresh wonderful seafood

Disappointing that we were lead to believe the crab cakes were local. After bringing them home we found labels indicating they came from N J. Integrity of the owner very questionable.

Absolutely love this place. Bought Snowy Grouper there, it was delicious. Their shrimp and scallops are great too!

Have been using Sanibel Seafood for years and have always been totally pleased with their product and service. We have been told that when the retail store is closed, they are more than willing to serve us through their wholesale warehouse. The last two times we have done this, the person serving us has complained considerably about having to process the sale on Visa, claiming that it costs them $3 for each transaction (our last purchase was $12 and the one before $20). I do not suspect the transaction fee is anywhere near that high, but can't be certain of that. In any case they do not welcome non-cash retail customers in off season, so we'll look for our seafood down the road.

Bought frozen shrimp. We're small and expensive. Better deal at Walmart. Not more flavorful. Just not a good deal. Other fish posted was expensive.

This seafood market has the absolute freshest local seafood you can get! Have been going there for many ears and am never disappointed! I really love the 2 pound bags of individually frozen gulf shrimp. You can just take out what you need. Planning to go there tomorrow to get fresh shrimp for Christmas Eve dinner!

My friends and I were looking for fresh seafood to grill at home. Went to trico grouper was smaller than I like. Went down by docks and asked a fisherman who told me about wholesaler Sanibel Seafood on buttonwood drive. They had a small retail shop attached. Got 3.5 pounds grouper they cut it fresh 1 piece. 3 pounds snapper , 5 pounds Florida pinkies and some crab cakes. I will be back
