“We visited Mission BBQ Ft Myers, it was delicious! We met Ben who walks around talks to people and makes you feel welcome. He was so nice to us, offered samples of different items on the menu that we have never tasted. Food is always spot on and tastes the best every time we go. The staff is exceptional as well as Ben. Looking forward to returning when in the area.“

“On a rainy Saturday afternoon, we decided to give Rib City on McGregor a try for a late lunch. It was after 2:00pm and only two other tables were occupied, but service and food were a perfect 10! Our server, Yammy, was absolutely awesome. Her smile and pleasant personality added to our perfect BBQ lunch.

We enjoyed delicious crispy onion rings $7.99 for a full order (oops - ate them before we took a photo). Our entrees included a combo of BBQ chicken (dark meat only as requested) and fresh, thinly sliced pork plate w/garlic toast and our choice of two sides - creamy coleslaw and hot French fries for $13.99! Both meats had a great smokey flavor and perfectly cooked.

Our other entree was the St. Louis rib dinner w/garlic toast and our choice of two sides - coleslaw and baked beans for $21.99. There were at least five meaty and tender ribs on the platter. Although they were not as hot as I would prefer, our very attentive server quickly resolved the problem. They were returned hot and delicious. (We were so excited to eat our hot ribs, we forgot to take a photo.)

Several BBQ sauces were on the table and we tried them all.

We were stuffed and satisfied, but couldn't turn down dessert - our selection was Coconut Cream Pie! We enjoyed a few bites of this fluffy pie, but took most of it to go - no room to get another bite down.

We beverage choice was fresh brewed 1/2 and 1/2 iced tea served with a lemon wedge. Refills were provided without asking.

“Try the soup and meat. Very rich. Authentic Venezuelan flavor. Prices a little high. I ordered a small soup that cost the same as the large one. I didn't understand. The paper was not good and is very small for the price. I think they have to take into account the location (super far away) and the competition/prices. We were 2 people and spent $100. 2 small soups and 2 individual grills.“

My husband had the cobette & baked potato. Prices were moderate, my combo was $19.99 & my husband’s full rack of ribs was $24.99.

Atmosphere is always good not overly loud which makes it hard to carry a conversation when music and guest are too loud. No problems here.
I ordered the half rack of ribs, very tender sweet and delicious . Ordered with sweet potatoe. I did ask for it all the way and not expecting so much sugar on it but that’s probably my fault for not asking what type of sugar was being used. It was definitely not brown and too much dumped on it but was able to knock some off of the potatoe and it did mix well once I mixed it up. Probably will just get plain sweet potatoe next time . Wild West shrimp always delicious appetizer. We called ahead to check on seating just in case or to be put on list but not needed and were able to be seated immediately .“
