Tonight was supposed to be a special celebration for my wife’s birthday, and DaRuMa managed to ruin the entire experience from the moment we walked in.
We had a 7:30pm reservation for a party of 7, yet when we arrived, the hostesses sat the wrong party at our table. No apology, no explanation — we only found out after asking why we were still waiting. I even reminded them it was my wife’s birthday, which they clearly didn’t care about.

The décor is beautiful, especially the koi fish at the front entrance, which adds a relaxing and authentic touch. The dining setup with grills right in front creates a fun and entertaining atmosphere. The menu offers a great variety of steak, seafood, and chicken options. One guest ordered the steak and shrimp, another had the steak and chicken, and a third enjoyed the filet mignon and chicken. The food is absolutely delicious, and the chef cooks everything perfectly. Chef “Bruce” Lee makes the night unforgettable and is amazing with kids. For those not doing hibachi, the appetizers are excellent; each one is better than the next, with flavors so delicious. Options include beef teriyaki sticks, vegetable spring rolls, meatballs, shrimp teriyaki and apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. Please note automatic 20% gratuity for tables of only 4+ guests.
