The hotel is undergoing renovations so some mess is to be expected; however floors in the lobby needed swept. Our hotel room smelled like urine. The front desk manager was very pleasant. The rooms are adequate. Definitely an older hotel and it smells like it.

Construction next to our room at 8am. No waters in the room. Elevators dirty. Went to get coffee from restaurant attached and they were closed. The most basic of hotels. Would have loved to sleep in on vacation but construction made it impossible.

This place sucks. The location is bad. Its falsely advertised!!!!! BE AWARE. BAD AREA NO RESTAURANT. NO BAR. The ac does not work in my room. The water pressure is so low you can't rinse soap off you. Bed is very uncomfortable. And sheets are stained. Stay away!!! I booked for a week but will be canceling in the morning and moving somewhere better.

Walked in without a reservation asking for a single night stay. Was told the hotel was full, even though Hotels.com and other sites show room availability. Am quite disappointed in Holiday Inn.

Female white lady manager lacks of management skills, the young lady with red hair she is the one that brightness, excellent CS and empathy for others as it should be.
A young maintenance guy very polite and respectful, as well a part of the staff male that he trys to learn Spanish to better help customers and very very courteous. Thank u the other 2 black Africans ladies very very rude, they saw me top to bottom, do not even know what a role of customers representative role is, As a paying customer or as a Human I have to be treated with respect as I respect others, but some people has to be better train to do their job as it should be, do not Judge a book by its cover. You all never know what is on the inside, blessings to all you all but specially to the one's that are nice and kind to others, that's is how humanity is supposed to treat each other. Not base on money, you never know who u can be talking to maybe is a undercover customer to see how you all do. But in general Humans has to respect. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Simple as that...God love us all

We traveled from Louisina to Key West by car and spent one night here in transit. The hotel is not recommended. Fortunately, the stories about the homeless people on the site are not true (at least the night we were there), but it was still not a pleasant stay and we were happy to move on the next day.
The area is really not the best, the air conditioning was from a different era and was difficult to regulate, there were stains on the fittings, the couch was old, the soap dispenser was broken and everything seemed incredibly old.
Even for just one night we would recommend another hotel chain.
To end on a positive note: the bed was clean and that's why we gave it a second star

The manager was very nice and the staff was also very helpful.
I asked for some coffee packets late at night at the front desk, and they were out, so they offered to search the hotel for me. I told them not to go through the trouble, but 30 minutes later, they were at my door, having gone through the trouble of finding me the coffee anyway.
The water bottles they sell at the front may be a little pricey, but the service made up for it easily. The rooms are also well maintained, and the restaurant connected, Edison's Lab, is another plus.
